yes it is meant to be a water fountain. Potable water is consumable water... Non-potable is non-drinkable
but these fixtures are used in every prison/holding cell/detention center.

I think they look pretty sweet. I would put one in an RV or tiny house if weight weren't an issue. solid construction. easy to sanitize. no rot or mold.

Those are pretty standard in any US jail house, prison, or other detention facility.

i just finished a prison project that had about 80 of these units in different configurations, but all basically the same. they are durable, vandal resistant, and all stainless for sanitary/cleaning. these units, can run 5 to 7 times more then the china toilets/lavatories they are replacing, and take 4-5 time as long for a plumber to install. the ones in the picture are cheaper because they have Pneumatic push button controls. the ones i had on my project were electric sensor button type, with controllers in the wall that allowed prison guards to remotely kill the water to a fixture if the prisoner tried to flood their cell.

Yeah because Guatemalans, Hondurans and other Latin Americans fleeing abject poverty are too good to drink out of a toilet/ water fountain combo. I forgot that in the places that they are fleeing they had purified / double osmosis filtered water coming out their marble palaces.
GTFO out of here with this. These are the same units that you would find in any detention center. It hasn’t been deemed inhumane before this AOC maniac decided to gloss over facts.

She back peddled on this comment with a follow up. She said they "tested" the faucet, it was inoperable and the lady was told to drink from the toilet instead. That's her statement.
My question is, if it could not dispense water how did the toilet have water if both ran on the same water line?

Problem is the original statement is the one that got all of the play by the media. The retraction or walk back never gets the same attention. She knew what she was doing when she said the original statement. She is a subversive and dangerous moving forward.

I've never looked at my toothbrush the same after the mythbusters showed how fecal material proliferated most of the bathroom.
