You obviously disnt pay attention to Virginia state elections in 2017 or 2019.

Nationwide, at every level, extreme Progressives are dominating urban and suburban elections. They're still the party of unicorns and free candy because Trump is in office, but a lot of people are going to learn how quickly they become "the rich" when they start proposing legislation.
