For the record I don’t see us losing it.

Nothing has been done from Congress and all the left will do is try to impeach Trump. It’s no different than now with judges blocking everything he does and our own party not passing his agenda.

Why would anyone who loves America hope for this?

Seems like the board is convinced this will happen. What will we gain by winning midterms?

I hope you guys stop voting for the same fricks over and over again.

But I'm confident that Louisiana voters will vote the same people back in. Same with Kentucky and South Carolina.

absolutely not. As bad as the GOP is...we've at least made huge strides in ending a lot of the woke nonsense. DEMS back in control will be a disaster.

Because if they have knowledge of the GOP, they have seen that the GOP is much more comfortable being the opposition party. They are not good at passing legislation.

Since 1946, there have been 20 midterm elections. In 18 of them, the president’s party lost seats in the House of Representatives. That’s 90% of the midterm elections in the past 80 years.

We're going to.

Nothing seems to change much for the better no matter who is in charge. Life has ups and downs that are inevitable no matter who is in charge. Things will be good and bad, then good again, then bad again regardless.

ME wars are not necessary, though. They are not inevitable. But Congress had nothing to do with latest one anyway.

God no. I don't want to see 2 years of wasting time with BS impeachments that do nothing and go nowhere except create headaches

Don’t be surprised when Congress is not opened for the foreseeable future now that they’ve gone on vacation yet again.

Nope. I never pull against LSU and I never pull against my country. (On a sidenote and for the record, I would like to see Carville and his ilk out of both.)

We never have any good option in Louisiana. Any good candidate has no chance of winning because low information voters don't recognize his name and vote for whoever has the most advertising and the right letter by their name.

This is exactly why politicians should not be run against each other legally with ad campaigns.

The only political advertising should be in certain venues with equal space for each candidate... and in public debates.

Level the playing field. Negate special interest. Negate ad dollars.
