we don’t even care about saving as long as we and/or our friends get a cut or all of the pot. That’s what happened with the MIC.
Post actual stats from the Federal Budget that blows up this MIC bullshite talking point ...
OP ignores it ... as though the same friends don't do this in healthcare, welfare, etc. which makes up 61% of our Federal Budget ...
Further proof that the OP is not interested in honest debate ...

the study of Marxian economics isn’t the same as advocating for a Marxist revolution.
Well, keep studying, maybe you'll eventually get a clue.

My honest opinion? Really?
Nothing more than defense and infrastructure. Infrastructure can also encompass things like OSHA, MSHA, and the EPA as long as any and all regulations they propose are voted on and not just passed down as they are now.
The very minimum needed for citizens to thrive.

Bingo.
The whole point of the 9th and 10th amendments.
California can go full Marxist ... while Florida goes full Capitalist ...
"Little laboratories" as from the Federalist papers ...

Karl Marx argues that capitalism generates wealth by exploiting workers' labor, concentrating profits among capital owners, and creating economic inequality and recurring crises.
Which isn't untrue. But If labor is fairly paid is it exploited? Like others pointed out. Our poor are rich in the world stage. Our system has flaws but I can't realtor name a better one. More countries want to adopt our system or adapt parts of it.
Well then you have debates on what constitutes "fairly paid".
If market forces determine your labor is only worth X, and X isn't enough to buy a house, or even feed yourself, is that fairly paid?
Depends on who you ask. I would say it is. What is supposed to happen is that if you can't sustain yourself on your current wage you go get a different job that pays a wage where you can. The market assumes you will do that and the forces in the market actually want you to, in a sense. Its not capitalism's fault if people get a job and say "oops, guess I have to do this for 40 years and then die". People not being willing to job hop actually stagnates wages for everyone.

Yes. Why would it not be?

Then I read all of this and realize, you already said what I was gonna say.

Will the market always produce the “right” amount of “fair paying” jobs for society to survive?
I understand that everyone can’t live like kings and that’s not what I’m asking.

You should post on the Tiger Rant and share your views in the thread about "LSU-New Orleans" change of uniform colors.

Notice how the OP selective picks responses that correlate to their worldview and constantly ignores the facts being posted in this thread ...

don't blame them. Silly waste of everyone's money. No that won't balance the budget but it just that there are abou 75,000 other things like this that add up.

And it’s so half assed. My daughter’s rec volleyball league plays at the gym at UNO. It’s calledd the human performance center. The new colors are on some parts of it but most of the walls and decor are still blue and silver. It looks so ghetto.
Yes, big waste of money.
