Shocking that you don't understand the basic economic principles that you are reading.
OP doesn't understand 98% of what she reads ... but she pronounced the words right in her head, so it makes her qualified to start these ignorant threads ...

You could start by being honest with the class and admitting when you are wrong.

Speculation because the customer determines value?
Just wait till you learn what happens in a Marxist economy during an emergency or unforeseen sudden scarcity.
Centrally planned economies lack fluidity, flexibility, and agility.

Amazing! The same sheep advocating for socialism feed greedily at the trough of "consumer" debt...
It's simple really: the Sheep will be controlled, but by whom?

People buying shite they don't need, and having the ability to go into debt to do so, is just a symptom of freedom.

We had it in 1873 and the early 1900's and the unfettered capitalism lead to a whole host of problems both financially and societal. So, some regulation by the referee that is the state was in order. You should read up on the Panic of 1873 it lead to a 6 year depression.

What about deindustrialization
What about it?
The US is still highly industrialized but lower-level or environmentally-damaging industry was offshored. You sound like Trump rambling about manufacturing, here.

and the decline of wages?
This is similar to people starting the inflation/interest framing in the late 70s, where the start of the decline focuses on an outlier-high period of wages (post WW2).
This applies to industrialization also I reckon
Wages have declined. Costs have declined even faster for most goods. There are some outliers that are artificially high due to government policy (like housing, education)

Let’s get a couple of things straight before entering the discussion: capitalism has produced more widespread wealth than any previous economic system to date; communism and its offspring socialism have never produced sustained economic growth anywhere near capitalism. China implemented Maoism which was an urban focused communism led by urban elites while the peasants starved and was a colossal failure much worse than Stalinism. Stalin and Lenin implemented a peasant centered communism which led to rationing in urban areas and was a colossal failure so much so that the Soviets warned Mao not implement such a rigid system. He didn’t listen. The Soviets knew by the early 70’s that the system was on the verge of collapse and eased restrictions but the collapse was inevitable

It is impossible to discuss anything with you. You are literally this dumb. You are trying to Justify Marxism. Enough said.

You are wasting your time with 4 cubbies. She is THAT far gone, and unfortunately she carries an IQ of around 50 or 60, so there really isn't any hope that she will ever come to her senses. She isn't alone. Just look at these women and gay men protesting. They are disgusting misfits and losers, and they can't make it on their own, so they want it all burned down and start over with everyone being equal. LOL. Like that would change who people are.

Don’t forget, papa Mao is responsible for over 40 million deaths, mostly due to his 4 pest campaign and the resulting famine and his massive use of forced labor camps and “midnight disappearances”
The ONLY thing that saved the CCP was a near total abandonment of communism in practice and the widespread adoption and reliance on international capitalistic markets.

Why is what you posted here supposed to lead to a discussion about “Marxist economics”?

you are giving her way too much credit. She is literally borderline retarded, and might not even be borderline, but full. She clearly doesn't have a lot to work with upstairs, and is looking for something that will change her miserable life.

Still no response dear? That’s sad how you can’t even respond to posts proving you wrong. Just a good little faux intellectual soldier. Full blinders on, ignore any challenge that proves the message wrong, keep flinging shite like the good little faux intellectual you are.

She obtained specious information, and she is seeking to discuss. Running people off for shite like that is how you create echo chambers.
