Removing shot spotter from high crime neighborhoods will result in more victims of gangs and violent crime. They are making a safe space for murder.

Black kids, teens, and adults are killed all the time here in MS with shrugs and a bunch of "I didn't see nuthin". Oh but redraw the congressional lines??? Literal marches and rallies.

And of all the things to worry about... they are crying that they don't again have full control of the Jackson water system. The same Jackson water system that was collapsing before the state had to step in and fix... that they had full control of.
This is why I cannot be a politician. I would say "you can have it back... but zero state funds going forward to repair your frickup. Sink or swim time." And then deny every request for state funding to fix from then on.

Therein lies the foolishness of liberal thought. Although they claim "black lives matter" they are completely callous to the multitudes of black lives lost and the #1 cause of violence in those communities. Imagine being "OK" with people being slaughtered, so that you can feel smug about protecting the source of the violence.
These people's brains are so twisted they literally don't know whether to shite or wind their watch.
