And before anyone objects to that, keep in mind that there is an entire sub-genre of feminist writings called "family abolition" (The Dialectic of Sex, The Female Eunuch, Abolish the Family: A Manifesto for Care and Liberation, etc.) that argues...well, many of the things you've seen cubbies argue on here.

Essentially that the traditional nuclear family is an economic and social institution designed to exploit women's unpaid domestic labor and restrict their autonomy. Therefore, women should eschew the family and refuse to participate in it.

And to the degree that you convince women that they are being oppressed and enslaved by their families, the greater the chances are that some mentally unstable women are going to pick up a weapon and go "freedom fighting."
