Libertarian views aside, anyone who runs for elected office, certainly at the state and federal level, should be drug tested. There's that whole public trust thing and all.

What about his platform could they have possibly viewed to being better than what FL got with DeSantis?
Never mind the man can't help his illegal and base urges. Which could have caused all manner of problems if he were elected Governor of a major state.
I think they just wanted a Dem in a high electoral college numbered state. Nothing more than that.

It was a heartwarming story about a poor black kid, born in Gainesville, that studied his arse off by candlelight, in between shifts feeding the forlorn homeless population at the local soup kitchen.
