It's funny that they're so stupid that they don't understand that a judge saying last week, "abortion is a constitutional right" was correct last week. Then they ruled and voted that it wasn't and now that answer would be different.
It's not their fault that they are all 10x IQ points ahead of the people asking the questions.

"The Supreme Court didn't vote the way I wanted them to, so they're now illegitimate." - Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass.

Rule of law, progtards. You're a threat to democracy.

How would the nation's highest court, she asked, "survive the stench" of the abortion ruling if it appeared the justices were engaging in politics.
Sotomayor, the most outspoken liberal on the court, said she wasn't sure it could.
Ummm.... those two sentences are literally concurrent...

Who actually thinks the USSC isn't political?
Wth?
Why would anyone think twice which party nominates justices if it wasn't political?
Or why does the court vote strictly down party lines most of the time?
Or why did RBG come out in protest of President Trump if it wasn't political?
Yeah, the USSC is very political.

She literally sat up there and lied about covid for political reasons.

These idiots had 50 fricking years to get an amendment passed and they did nothing but sit on their asses and use this issue as a scare tactic to drum up votes.
Exactly, that is the MO of the radical progressive socialist.
It's not sustainable once the line drawn in the sand by the silent majority is crossed.

It has legitimacy again for the first time in 49 years

Article 3 of the U.S. Constitution provides them all of the legitimacy they need.

Forget it. It's Sotomayor. She's saying whatever stupidity pops into her idiot brain.

I'm no constitutional expert but can she point to where this resides?
This is where we get the Catch-22 - 7 old white men invented this "Constitutional" right to an abortion. 1 old black man, 4 old white men and 1 old white lady just uninvented it. They liked it when it went their way. They don't like it when it doesn't.
The Constitution is also silent on things like education, schools, etc., but see how much meddling they do in those areas?

What do you think Sotomayor's IQ legitimately is, 80? 85?

Has been since 1973.

In my opinion, it's not silent. It says the federal government has no authority.

Well, that's closer to the text than what we have. Since it is not delegated by the text, then the Xth Amendment specifies it is reserved to the States or People.
quote:
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
Changes during the 1860s and 1920s - 1940s saw the power of the executive branch expand so far as to defy limits. The Courts followed suit in the 1950s and 1960s. Only recently has the Court shown any inclination to staunch the flow.

Exactly. The Dept. Of Education is illegitimate.

No shite.
The “legitimacy of the court” wasn’t in question over the Obamacare decision, gay marriage, etc., but it is now over Roe, gun rights, prayer by school employees, etc.
Things are only a problem when they don’t go the left’s way.

It’s funny how the media pushes stuff like this when they don’t get their way. A CBS news radio report said the country is very divided on the ruling. Funny how they never say the country is divided when a decision goes their way and conservatives are mad.

The same media calling the court partisan today was covering democrat threats to pack the court as reasonable policy.
