The court ruled that not only were the racially-motivated drawn districts unconstitutional, but also that they have always been unconstitutional. It's not like they said that they’ll only be unconstitutional after the 2026 elections.

You would think that this would REQUIRE those states with racially motivated districts to redraw them before the 2026 election as the current map is clearly unconstitutional.

Because Stacey Abrams was the other ’choice’.

I think the whole 2 past elections were just theatre.

1. He's not having the legislature redraw because early voting has already begun.
2. He is still considering redrawing for 2028.

Misleading OP.

Yea, he's really began siding with the Marxists recently.

I’m convinced these idiots hate success. They do everything to avoid it.

Well thats because they arent really republicans, theyre just democrats running in red districts.

They all want cheap labor.
They all abhor their voters.
They all want open borders.
They all want wars (good for business).
They all want rigged elections (dont want to compete).
They all hate AF/MAGA (bad for business as usual).

So we get excuses, "aww shucks, get em next time" and angry spots on fox news where Sean Hannity can rant to GOP voters who still haven't figured out the hustle or why things never get done.

I do enjoy hating on Kemp and his many flaws, but I don’t know how we would squeeze more republicans seats out. It’s far too many Yankee transplants

It's better to do nothing than to do wrong. Kemp didn't start a war he couldn't win, which is hurting America and much of the developed world in the process.

Please, do tell us how you are hurting and maybe we can talk about a GoFundMe for ya.

Looking at the congressional map, It will be hard to make gains so it makes no sense to create upheaval for no reason. Louisiana is a different situation.

Of course he didn’t. First you have to be a badass and with a Presidential election, which clearly he has not done. Who knows, if he were President he may’ve made some particular decision(s) and moves that were/are as terrible as you accuse Trump of, which btw you’re wrong about it.

Kemp loathes Trump.

Kemp would rather Ossoff and Warnock remain the Senators from GA rather than give the residents of GA an opportunity to remove both Dims from the US Senate.

Has Louisiana started voting yet? Georgia is 5 days into early voting.

If they tried to stop and redistrict at this point it would most likely get struck down in court due to Purcell v Gonzales, which basically states federal courts should not change state voting laws within a certain time period close to an election.

How would redistricting impact the Senate, especially when Warnock isn't even up for reelection this cycle?

The Georgia legislature passed a law that has a cutoff date for changes immediately prior to elections. Not going to happen this year, but possibly next year.
