Kemp knows that he'd better cooperate with the Dems.

There is one thing establishment and country club Republicans hate worse than anything: actually governing and voting the way they campaigned.

It feels like this guy has been the GA governor for 27 years. Any kind of term limit/election challenge coming up?

Does anyone in Georgia have the balls to drag this to court like Steve Marshall is doing in Alabama???

I don’t know what to make of GA. The state is only 49% White now, and many of those are transplants from other parts of the country. They have a large Hispanic population at 12%. If the republicans can continue to make strides with this group they may be okay, but time will tell.

We will see…. Anyone who lives in those districts can sue and demand a constitutionally compliant districts be drawn. Then the courts could have the final say… not that I have too much faith in that working either

Kemp was excellent during Covid. He is subpar in election integrity and getting things done.

How can an unconstitutional district be allowed representation in a constitutionally ordained body?

Yea not sure that GA could make the map deep red if they wanted to, the state is purple and the Dems will always have districts because of Atlanta and the east and south suburbs plus Savannah

Georgia is cooked because of all the transplants flocking to metro Atl.

Seen it up close and personal. Kid has 7 months left of high school, and we're getting the frick out of gwinnett. This place is so different in just the last 10 years.

getting things done

It's better to do nothing than to do wrong. Kemp didn't start a war he couldn't win, which is hurting America and much of the developed world in the process.

The Republicans have been in charge of redistricting for the past 30+ years.

It isn't like we've had blue governors slamming bad voting lines for decades.

When we have good candidates, we win elections.
