There definitely is.

Just like anything taken to an extreme can be a bad thing.

I noticed you skipped one of my points and I don't think it's an accident. Have you noticed all of these woke terms only apply to one group of people?

Only white people can have unconscious bias. Only masculinity can be toxic. What do these pretentious people believe that there's no such thing as toxic females?

But it's even worse than that. Something important the term for bad guys that is specifically gendered and if you were to use similar language for a bad female you would be........ you guessed it......STILL accused of toxic masculinity.

It is unadulterated bull shite. There are masculine men and then there are masculine men who are bad guys. They aren't guilty of toxic masculinity they are just bad guys

I'm convinced that some of the people getting paid a shitload of money to run these multi-million (perhaps billion) dollar companies have no business sense whatsoever.

You're Gillette. You make shaving products. You have done so for over 100 years with tremendous success. During that 100+ years I doubt any customer/potential customer was ever standing in the shave products aisle thinking: "You know, this looks like a really good razor. But I'm going to need to hear this company's position on racism, bulling, gender construct, etc before I can pull the trigger.

You get to the present date and you realize your market share is being cut into by shave clubs/start ups offering a similar product at a lower price. You have to do something in response.

Option A is to try to find a way to price your product in line with the shave club guys and/or market your products as superior in quality.

Option B is to unnecessarily and unsolicited develop a marketing campaign centered on social justice issues THAT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH SHAVING potentially turning off loyal customers

...and you choose option B!!!

Gillette. You make fricking razors. Do that well and at a competitive price. No one gives a shite about your position on "toxic masculinity."

I think There are men who are bad guys based on a misguided idea of what it is to be a man.

Again, I dont 100% disagree with you about this because I do think all masculinity lumped into this idea.

And you who is this option despite the fact literally every pole ever would tell you that men wouldn't be receptive to it. I mean sure you would get some men but you are easily going to piss off 3 for you did every one that likes it.

And the truth is the majority of women don't buy into that b******* either

Can’t see how their strategy didn’t work.

I’ve never met someone who was too masculine.

I’ve met plenty of weak, and as a consequence, unhappy men.

And that are women who are bad women do to a misguided idea of what it is to be a woman

The point is nobody invents a term 4 specially aimed at gender for them and all of the existing terms that one might use that are specifically gender-related will get you in a bunch of public hot water if you use them publicly. Try running an ad saying don't be a c***

My local Winco had an insane closeout (hidden on a dusty clearance shelf): 4-packs of Mach 3 razor blades for $.99 a pack. I bought every pack on the shelf (about 200 packs) and figured that

A) Gillette had already gotten paid for these razors
B) Since I only shave 2 times per week, I will literally not have to buy more razor blades for 20 years. Gillette can DIAF even though they make great razor blades.

Piss off conservative customers. Realize it cost them a ton of money and backtrack, which pisses off liberal customers and now they managed to alienate customers on both sides. Its almost as if a business would be better off financially by staying out of politics and SJW bullshite that has nothing to do with the products or services they’re selling.

I'd like to thank Gillette for turning me on to Viking's Blade razors. I've enjoyed the closer shave for less money with no social guilt trip required. Thanks, Gillette!

Kinda sounds like Drew Brees and Dan Cathay (only in reverse).

I will never voluntarily eat at a Chick Fil A again because I am so hurt and betrayed by what Cathay said about inherent white guilt. frick him.

think how the poor Gillette sales reps and their managers felt when they saw their marketing dept. come out with those idiotic adds.

Maybe Gillette marketing dept. thought they can attract all the transitioning females to males who are taking hormones to grow beards? That's a big market
