Christians think children that die young go to Heaven. That sounds good until you realize that 90+% of adults that are doomed for hell were at one point children. Had they died young they'd have gone to Heaven.
A drunk driver taking out a kid who would have grown up to be an unrepentant murderer? That kid is now in Heaven because someone chose to drink and drive.

Those stories in the Christians’ defense were written during a time when the Jewish theology was that Yahweh was not all powerful. When these stories were written, Yahweh Sabaoth - the Lord of the Heavenly armies that helped Joshua crush the Canaanites to steal their land - was powerless to stop Marduk and the Babylonian armies. It wasn’t until the 300-200BCE timeframe that Jews became to consider their god “all powerful” but in reality that characteristic was adopted from the Persian god Ahura Mazda.

In EVERY case, the FULL context demonstrates the truth of the matter -- not close to your deceitful misrepresentation and demonically-inspired lies and mis-characterizations of Chapter + Verse.

It's tough to say. Liberator's knee jerking reaction to his god being a child killer was to call me a liar despite it being scripturally accurate. It's cultish behavior and reeks of indoctrination.
That's not a dig, btw. Rewind time 20 years and I was posting the same vapid, completely unaware, religious tripe in defense of the same god. Growing up in a church and coloring smiling animals aboard Noah's boat every Sunday will do that to you.
