The Amazon prime video reminded me of a scripture, written by Christians in Egypt at the time the other gospels were produced. The scripture is called the Hypostasis of the Archons (Reality of the Rulers). It was written in Greek but all we have is a Coptic version radiometric dated to about 400CE. These Christians believed they had the secret knowledge that Jesus brought to them from the high god El Elyon (Theos) but that Yahweh of the Jewish scripture was the chief Archon they called the demiurge. Here’s a couple excerpts from that very interesting text:
On account of the reality of the authorities, (inspired) by the spirit of the
father of truth, the great apostle - referring to the "authorities of the
darkness" - told us that "our contest is not against flesh and blood; rather,
the authorities of the universe and the spirits of wickedness." I have sent this
(to you) because you inquire about the reality of the authorities.
Their chief is blind; because of his power and his ignorance and his
arrogance he said, with his power, "It is I who am God; there is none apart
from me." When he said this, he sinned against the entirety. And this speech
got up to incorruptibility; then there was a voice that came forth from
incorruptibility, saying, "You are mistaken, Samael" - which is, "god of the blind."

Who’s the great apostle they were talking about???? The one who said the real struggle was not against flesh and blood but against the archons living in heavenly places?

The bolded is categorically false. This clearly gnostic text you source has been dated to the late-2nd/early-3rd century by scholars. Using their most liberal dating of the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John were composed between the years 70 and 100.
