All you need is 3 drones flying overhead with cameras - 2 guys operating and watching the stream - see someone going to roof - alert !

That’s why they did this.

To make it financially hard for universities and college speakers to speak.

Just like trying to make lead more expensive, Obama eliminated some lead plants to make bullets cost prohibitive…..not guns.

I’m not a security expert by any means, but I can tell you if I had a security team you bet your arse I’d have every fricking roof crossed and dotted. Like how does this happen. EVERY ROOF gets security if it has a vantage point to the target up to a mile in every god damn direction.

What? Dude, do you know how many political speakers come through a university a year? You think they are going to be able to afford to put an actual TEAM to protect them?

And Kirk himself, who was worth somewhere around $10M, would probably have had problems himself paying for anybody to stop that type of hit. I mean, outside of 1 or 2 big dudes who NEVER would have been able to spot a sniper, much less do anything about it.

Jesus, people.

Nobody is criticizing Charlie Kirk. We are criticizing the Security Detail. Someone worth 150-200 million that gets constant death threats from deranged Liberals should have had the roof directly in front of him 200 yards that had direct access from stairs covered

So you're criticizing the decision-making of the person who made the decision, but you're not criticizing the decision-maker?

Make it make sense

Drones dude. My kids’ football and soccer teams have eyes in the sky every game for film.

It’d be so easy and cheap to have a few drones up monitoring vantage points.

Sadly, in this case, an ordinary drone could have saved Charlie’s life.

For a talking event at a college? I’m surprised he had more than a single bodyguard. That is a very low risk environment.
If you are set on killing a person that does college campus tours, do pick the venue with a ton of people and a massive campus police department, or a small school with 6 campus cops?

Until yesterday, I never heard of this school. Last year was the first time I knew there was a Butler, PA. See the pattern?

That’s going to be a new thing. It’s coming. Future security details will include swarm of drones circulating using AI to identify potential threats. Book it.

My man, his security was to prevent someone from the crowd from rushing him to physically attack him. It wasn’t to prevent someone shooting him from 200 yards away because no one thought that would ever be a threat.

You are being downvoted but it’s a legit question. He was concerned enough to be wearing body armour. They should have had him in a spot where he wasn’t exposed or they should have covered the roof.

They can cover at least .5 square miles with just a few drones.

Which makes the Butler assassination attempt obvious that it was an intelligence hit.
