No matter who these people were, the bronze statues of all of these people look amazing and beautify the surrounding. Instead we’ll be left with empty pedestals which will just serve as graffiti magnets and lead to a decline in property values. They won’t be replaced with other bronze statues, it’ll just be a loss to the community to pacify the mob. And I doubt those statues will ever make their way to a park or museum either.
These aren’t ugly communist statues of Stalin meant for propaganda and to keep people in line, these are amazing looking bronze casts of people of importance to US history (for good or bad). It’s an absolute shame what’s happening. I’d imagine most tearing these things down couldn’t tell you the first thing about the people the statues are of either.
And the saddest part is there’s no one fighting back

In Richmond they put up a statue of a black man on a horse, wearing sneakers.

If Dems win Congress and the White House, this monument in Arlington is a goner

For some reason, statues and monuments have always attracted me to them when I have traveled. I have learned a lot of history that I otherwise would have been unaware of without some of the more obscure statues and monuments that I have seen.
History doesn't matter this this country anymore...

The Taliban did the same thing in Afghanistan.

I have as well.

It only matters as something to attack under the false flag of racism. Sad times.

That is really what gets me... If the mob truly had an understanding of history, would they be attacking as many of the monuments?
They attacked the monuments for the Fighting 54th and Arthur Ashe under the banner of BLM... I am certain there are others that are or have been attacked out of an ignorance of history more than anything else...

Who'd he kill to steal the sneakers?

I don't know why these statues have not been taken down before they have been targeted by the idiots so they can be saved for posterity.
Not only are they a part of history but they would be very expensive to replicate.

The lost art is stunning. The scum that are wrecking these statues couldn't construct anything like them.
These destroyers are trash of the earth.

What company makes sneakers for horses? were they hightops?

Even if replicated, the work the original artist put into it is gone. Trampled by the filth.
I wish the statues could come to life and attack the destroyers.
It seems like the idea of destroying these works of art started when the left saw their heroes statues (Stalin and Saddam) being torn down. They most have thought, if our heroes can be destroyed, we should destroy America's heroes.

And I welcome their switch. But they are too late. They were so damned arrogant for so damn long. Thought they were so special because they weren't crazy like those of us who could see this stuff coming.
No you weren't special. You were just oblivious

The educated always are the flag bearers for Communism. And then they’re killed.
