Fighting Russia and Islam is one and the same because Islam is one of three official Russian religions and Moscow is the most Muslim city in Europe (unless you consider Turkey to be part of Europe).

Ukraine and Iran are not the same situation regardless of what anybody in any administration may try and claim.

Paris: The French capital has the highest number of Muslims in Europe, with estimates suggesting around 2.5 million Muslims residing in the metropolitan area. This significant population is attributed to historical immigration patterns and the city's role as a cultural and economic hub.
1
London: Following Paris, London is another major city with a large Muslim community, estimated to be around 1.5 million. The diverse nature of London's population contributes to its vibrant Muslim community, which includes individuals from various ethnic backgrounds.
1
Berlin: The German capital also hosts a substantial Muslim population, with estimates ranging from 300,000 to 500,000 Muslims. Berlin's history of migration and its status as a major European city have fostered a growing Muslim community.
1
Marseille: This French port city is known for its significant Muslim population, which is estimated to be around 10-15% of the city's total population, reflecting the historical ties between France and North Africa.

Why is NATO a thing again?
To mutually defend North America and Europe. The Straits of Hormuz is not in either of those areas. Also we did not invoke Article 5 so NATO does not really come into play. With that being said it is a shitty thing for our allies to do and I am quickly reevaluating my opinion on the pros/cons of the USA being in NATO.

Because we fund them? And they’ve made a commitment to support campaigns such as these.
Make up your closed little minds. Either we don’t need alliances or we do.

The whole abandon NATO thing would be bad bad optics for us to withdraw from. That is the primary reason we have not pulled out of NATO.
The help open the straight was in large part to show the US citizens that Nato member do not have our back despite the USA being the only thing that has prevented Russia from reaching their objectives in Ukraine.
The US population because they are lied to by the MSM and largely ignore news in Europe do not know the the UK and even France is now run as a pro islamic state/anti-western civilization state.
They do not know that Germany is not far behind them.
We will pull out of NATO eventually assuming the trends in Europe continue. I can see the US aligning with some of the other European nations like Poland, Italy and Hungary while cutting ties with the big three in the EU.
Not a prediction on that last paragraph but I can see it happening and not be shocked when it does.
I can also see the EU changing course and fixing their countries. Time will tell.

NATO is a defensive alliance.
He's not saying they HAVE TO HELP because they're in NATO, he's saying "Help us secure your oil or we're gonna take it all over and make you pay double for it, in addition to making you pay for your own defense".
They'll bend the knee as they always do.

Anyone who supports NATO doesn't understand just how powerful the US Military is when fully unleashed.

Ukraine and the Iranian conflict are very different. We initiated this one……
Obama started Ukraine by breaking the Budapest Memorandum when he helped depose Viktor Yanukovych.
Victoria Nuland was Obama's shill in the Ukraine.
During the Maidan Uprising in Ukraine, Nuland made appearances supporting the Maidan protesters. In December 2013, she said in a speech to the US–Ukraine Foundation that the U.S. had invested over $5 billion on democratic skills and institutions, civic participation, and good governance in Ukraine since 1991. She stated that these were preconditions for Ukraine to achieve its European aspirations. The Russian government seized on this statement, claiming it was evidence the U.S. was orchestrating a color revolution.
Putin used Obama's overt illegal involvement in Ukraine as a reason to invade Crimea.

Y'all are some miserable morons. Just say you don't have clue what is going on. At least that would be honest.

Since we didn’t start the Ukraine one, we need our money back.
We’ll finish what has been a continuous terrorist attack against Americans since at least 1979.

With friends like this, who needs enemies?
This. Just getting them on record for not having our back. Now we can defund NATO.

Yes, exactly, because we have an educated and inquisitive population that is interested in the political ramifications of NATO countries not working with the US
Asking 1000 people in a random mall who NATO is and what do they do might get more responses asking how to spell NATO than who they are

Sometimes that happens when you show/tell those allies that you don't want/need them over and over.

WTF does old Kier think he's going to do to "work with us?" Most of the tiny Royal Navy can't be put to sea because it's in maintenance.
