They've played out a war game like this many times and restarted it once because the red force commander decided to use asymmetric warfare techniques that blue force was not expecting or were poorly prepared to handle.

wasn't it just a few weeks ago i read that iran and china were near a deal for iran to buy ship killer missiles from china. supposedly dangerous enough to take out an aircraft carrier. now we have trump asking china to send ships to help open up the straits. the trump trip to china next month should be wild.

Do people get it yet? Our traditional western allies are no longer reliable, and probably haven’t been for 20 years. Trump wants to build new coalitions, neutralize bad actors in the hemisphere, and create strategic defensive positions around the homeland.
