Until this I dont think most people realized the beer business is two behemoths, AB Inbev and Heineken. Here in the Caribbean most people think they are buying "local". Martinique/Guadeloupe, St Lucia, Barbados, St. Vincent, Dominica, Antigua, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Haiti, Suriname, Bahamas, all are owned by the two aforementioned.
When I worked at Miller we imported Fosters "Australian for beer" 25 ounce "oil can" with a big import stamp on the can.....imported from Molson in Canada.

I had a beer while waiting for a to go order yesterday, and a black dude sat next to me and ordered a Bud Light. A guy from across the bar, who obviously knew him, gave him a ration of shite and he changed his order.
