Some goofball in a separate thread yesterday chided me for “having done zero research into this election” because I was saying this was not a positive outcome.
Without looking up that thread, was it one of the Neocon shills Eurocat, Ingenero, Cheese Grits, or crazy4lsu?
A couple more of those guys i can't recall by name just now.

Eurocuck and crazy4lsu both loved Orbans L

Yeah, I’m plenty comfortable with my “zero researched” opinion.
They are only happy because Trump supported Orban. PT is only sad because Trump supported Orban. The people of Hungary voted, let it be. Why Trump thought it was necessary to join the losing side is beyond me. He should have just stayed out of it.

In May 2018, George Soros's Open Society Foundations (OSF) closed their international operations in Budapest, Hungary, relocating to Berlin due to an increasingly repressive political and legal environment created by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s government. The decision was driven by intense campaigns, including the "Stop Soros" laws, which targeted NGOs that supported immigration and threatened staff safety.
Open Society Foundations
Key Details regarding the Closure:
Reasons for Departure: OSF cited a "hostile campaign" by the government, which included smears, threats to staff, proposed 25% taxes on foreign donations, and new restrictions on NGOs.
Government Action:
The Hungarian government, led by Viktor Orbán, portrayed Soros as an enemy trying to force the country to accept immigrants and undermine national security.
The "Stop Soros" Law: The ruling Fidesz party proposed legislation that would require governmental license and security clearances for NGOs aiding asylum seekers, making it, in the view of the foundation, impossible to operate legally and safely.
Impact: The closure marked a significant setback for civic organizations, as the OSF moved its operations and dozens of staff members—around 60% of whom were Hungarian—out of the country.
Ongoing Support: Despite moving its international headquarters to Berlin, the Open Society Foundations stated in 2018 that it would continue to support its Hungarian partners working on issues like education, human rights, and democracy.
Open Society Foundations
Following the 2018 office closure, the Central European University (CEU)—another institution founded by Soros—was also forced to move most of its operations from Budapest to Vienna in 2019

But... he's more conservative than Orban.
He's anti-immigration just like Orban.
He's just not corrupt.
Let's bookmark this for 18 months and see where Hungary is.
But is he a Putin puppet like Orban?

Poland is the last one left.
Poland is under serious siege, friend. Has been for a while now.
Notice how Obama congratulated and referenced the Polish election in 2023?
That election resulted in the election of Donald Tusk as prime minister.
Since that election, he has shut down podcasters, broadcasters that challenge his narrative and political ideology, has spied on his people and his political opposition, and had his political opponents arrested and jailed. These legal battles are ongoing.
Tusk is a lifelong political establishment bureaucrat. He is the one who encouraged David Cameron not to give the British people a choice on leaving the EU. And, when the British people voted to leave the EU, he told Cameron to just ignore the vote and nullify the results.
Tusk is a vile globalist.

I was wary of the Better than Orban thread. Those endorsements is all you need to see to realize Hungary is cooked.

I don't know anything about the Hungarian election, but I do know that if that lineup of sociopaths is happy about it, that it cannot be good for the world, or the United States in general.

Who exactly was the “foreign influence” behind Orban?
Posted on 4/13/26 at 8:05 am to LuckyTiger
Alex Soros
Obama
Starmer
Zelenskyy
Susan Rice
Adam Schiff
Chuck Schumer
Hakeem Jeffries
Hillary
Tim Walz
William Kristol
Péter Magyar is probably a Bohemian Grove sheep dipped globalist with that group congratulating him.
Voters should feel some real consternation seeing that many Darth Lords elated by the election results.

Orban is not pro Putin or pro Zelenskyy.
That's why many, like you, hated him.
He was only pro Hungary.

Alex Soros cheering the PM defeating entrenched corruption is akin to Ted Bundy touting John Wayne Gacy being selected for Attorney General to target serial killers.

Soro"s retook Hungary like Elon says. Anyone with a lick of sense sees they fired up the election.
If the Soros gang loves Magyar this says it all.

All the wrong people are happy about this which tells me exactly what just happened: a pro globalist color revolution succeeded.
My question is why were we as a “MAGA” run nation not strongly opposing this?
All the same levers of power that were used by the globalists in the state dept and CIA under Obama and Biden to move countries left could be shifting these nations right and we aren’t seeing it.
