FairhopeTider is right. She has avoided debates and is basing her campaign on her name and positive things happening in the state economy wise that she had nothing to do with. She's done nothing to deserve the office but instead her personal lifestyle is being attacked instead of her lack of actual governing. Just like Doug Jones/Roy Moore. Alabama politics at its finest.

I like Martin too. Its kind of a lackluster ballot to be honest. Twinkle is Ivey 2.0 in that she just rode name recognition & party affiliation from one statewide office to the next. I haven't heard great things about Ainsworth but I haven't really given much effort to look him up.

I've worked with Patricia Todd a few times over the years, and this is surprising coming from her. I was always under the impression is was a big no-no for a gay person to out another gay person, and I expect she'll get some backlash over this.
I don't really understand the anger of her Tweet anyway. Ivey allocated funds as the Federal grant requires to gay groups, and Dawson called Ivey out on it inappropriately. She should have been going after Dawson.
