Imagine the same thing that held back any attempt at accountability for the theft of the 2020 election (including handing the DNC multiple senate seats).

Georgia is no longer majority white. The last few State wide elections were extremely close and the demographics change more and more every year.

If Kemp were to thin out the Republican districts to much more he will end up losing representatives.

Original colony last to move. Typical behavior.

Eta. You know, the original colony of Georgia was established in 1732 by James Oglethorpe as a refuge for debtors and the poor, and it served as a buffer between British South Carolina and Spanish Florida.

Stubborn behavior holding on to the past.

fulton county

It is being reported that Fulton County, GA certified over 17,000 votes in the 2020 election for which there was no ballot!

Trump lost Georgia by just over 11,000 votes.

If the SCOTUS determines that race-based congressional districts are unconstitutional, and the state refuses to remedy that, they are asking voters to engage in illegitimate elections. Some group should take them to court and force the issue.

Kemp reminds me of G.W. Bush and many late 80s and 90s era republicans. Remember Bush 1 saying no new taxes, then the D's saying it's got to happen and we'll all take credit/blame. He signed the bill to raise taxes and the D's pounded him for it in the '92 election. Kemp is trying to be liked by both sides. He doesn't understand that the media and democrats will never like him and he only loses face with republicans.

Hint: The democrats want power and their cheerleading media want them to have power. They will never like anyone with an "R" by their name and will never respect them.

GA is not LA or AL. I’m not saying it’s a democrat state, but it’s definitely a purple state. I’m not a Kemp fanatic, but it’s a whole different ballgame than these other southern states. Lots of white libs have moved in along with a much larger Hispanic population than other southern states. Add that in with 30+% black population, and you have a tough balancing act to keep control.

Georgia is more like Virginia than Alabama.
