If we are going to invade and nation build a country we should start with Mexico.

Problem is once those Turkish tanks go across the border, good luck getting them back. No way this stops at a 30km "safe zone". They will go all the way down to Deir Ezzor province to get the oil fields down there to add to their bounty.

Agreed, the Syrians are going to have a very hard time ejecting them. They can’t go toe to toe.

Insurgency is their best option.

IF the US military were truly a force committed to missions that serve the best interests of the USA and We the People, what you suggest here would already have happened. It needs to happen. Mexico is a hostile nation-state working hard to subvert OUR nation-state.

But, sadly, the US military does NOT exist to serve the best interests of the USA, it exists to serve as The Global Police Force and its does the bidding of the Globalist Internationalist Ruling Class.

Electing a Democrat for POTUS is a vote to continue The Forever War in the ME.

The Kurds are Muslims. They will help the USA when it serves their own best interests. They are not altruistic in any way when it comes to helping the USA. Let's keep that in mind.

The Kurds will turn-coat immediately whenever they discern that such action would serve their own best interests.

Do you deny this?

Our "greatest ally" would never allow the US to simply leave the Middle East.

I don't deny they are Muslim. You do sound a little ignorant though.

I'm deeply skeptical that you are in favor of pulling literally every foreign-stationed troop/base home.

I'll assume you are correct with regard to him (although, I see he already said you aren't), if you are, so what?

I am. Absolutely. If a base serves no logistical purpose to the protection of the United States itself, then we shouldn't be there at all. I also support fully ending NATO and letting those mooches defend themselves.

Obviously, the argument for basically any foreign presence is ultimately rooted in self-defense. I'm personally weary of a lifetime of this shite in the ME as well - but that doesn't mean there isn't some legit reason to ever be there.
