2 minute warning.

Would Garland be involved
To initiate a raid on the former President?
Anyone that believes everyone from Obam and Biden down didn't know about this are beyond psychatriac help.

Same for the WH. Maybe they didn't outright tell Biden just so he could maintain that denial, but zero chance Klain or someone else close to Biden didn't have knowledge of it.
Everyone in the WH knew about it.

ABC News still calling it a raid. Ha.

Not trying to start a fight here, serious question. Would Garland be involved in that decision making process at all or would the FBI Director Christopher Wray be the top person making the decision?
So Wray was told. He wouldn't tell his boss about a raid on a former President for the first time in history over something that could have been resolved through talks with Trump's lawyers and a subpoena for the supposed documents?

Probably not even Wray under normal circumstances. I would imaging some tier of management below the director could greenlight a raid. However, this is a former President, so I dont think there's an agent alive who does this without permission, or even direction, from the WH.
If we have anyone below cabinet-level who thinks they can authorize such a thing, then we have a major problem that won't be fixed without violence.

In a normal world I agree. But look at the things that have happened lately:
Mueller doesn't know what Fusion GPS was. He's the lead prosecutor and Fusion was the basis of everything
WH denies knowing about the raid, ok fine. WH saying they didn't know the AG was doing a press conference today
I mean these are not normal practices here

Yeah, I'm sure a low level division chief was like "oh yeah let's raid the former president's house over some letters, we don't need approval for this"
Totally ridiculous. Everyone in the WH knew and almost certainly directed it. They just didn't leave a trace of it.

they will pretend they didnt know, stomp their feet, demand accountability, caution us to allow the investigative process to play out, and then when it all turns out to be witch hunt 5.0, no one will be held accountable.

Let’s cut all the bullshite: the FBI raids the home of the former President and the presumptive opponent of the current President…
YES, Biden, Wray, and Garland all knew and likely any one of them could have stopped it if they so chose.
To think or even question otherwise is just simply imbecilic.

They probably have been scratching the word "raid" out of his statement

Hell, I would go so far as to say that at least 2 Supreme Court Justices should be required for the warrant.
It shouldn’t even be possible to enact a raid of a former president’s home with the signature of a magistrate judge from a national defense standpoint.

Guy on Newsmax said informant could be only be a half dozen people.

I went ahead and fixed that for you.

On the government side, the warrant is still under seal, although there is an action filed by the press to unseal the warrant. I don't think Trump is bound by the seal order, though.
The affidavit is sealed. Not the order. Oh and the info in the affidavit was fraudulent and the FBI admitted to that.

If someone on Biden’s staff made the decision to shield him from this act, which has turned into a real fiasco, how is that person still employed? Only a truly incompetent and weak POTUS would allow that.
Oh wait…
Oh wait…
