Maybe some of it. Populists are the MAGA wing of the party, not the conservative wing. Conservatives want nothing to do with populism
99% of MAGA is conservative.

The people advocating for voting against the GOP in the general, while supporting Trump, apparently have zero knowledge of how our government works. This includes Trump.
It is a very populist position however as the current leader of the party wants only ring kissers and will attempt to destroy anyone that is not in complete lockstep with himself.

If that was true Trump would not be the nominee.

Well, Trump’s claim of immunity is failing, and the trial calendar is shifting into high gear. Interesting times ahead.

I doubt it. Most MAGA folk don't even know what "conservative" means. I know Trump doesn't.

If you monitor social media, including this site there’s tons of examples of both.
I don't and am not surprised that you do.

In this thread, the most prominent poster against the OP has said he won’t vote for Trump
How did this poster establish himself to be the most prominent in the thread?

This was a good thread that didn’t call anyone out and instead made a plea to a group of posters. It even set a premise of a justifiable complaint. It was beyond reasonable. I think the replies speak for themselves.
Who was the OP reaching out to exactly? I think that's why this thread lurches from one ditch to the other, back and forth.

This is lunacy.

Then there is the fact of the US Constitution that clearly gives the power Congress. Spending money is not in hands of the presidents. It's congress.
So veto that garbage. But trump was ok with it, and demanded more.

Who are you talking about? Who in this thread has posted that they're voting Biden/Dem, or even not voting Trump?
Lol, so you think they will admit it here? Well, one has stated he will never vote for Trump.

Do you often lie in these threads because you get embarrassed on an anonymous internet message board?

Thanks for the post, but as you have seen this was a bat signal for the bots to swarm and attack. GOPe or bust for them.

What did Trump do during his presidency that was soooo wrong that makes you think he is a horrible candidate and shouldn't be running my country?
Well my number1,2,3,4,5>10 issues I care about are reducing deficit spending, and Trump was 3rd worst president of all time in absolute terms and 8th worst of all time by % change. Nothing else really matters in the long term for USA other than this. Someone is going to have to have the balls to think about the future at some point.
LINK
2nd issue I have is the quantity of people he picked for his cabinet, he now hates them, and they hate him, and he has trashed a ton of his own picks, so that seems highly incompetent as well. He will have a lot of difficulty filling his cabinet with competent people at this point, and I expect his term to be a lot about living 4 years in the past instead of the future.
The "mean tweets", and general abrasiveness. I don't give a shite about, it seemed unnecessary to me a lot of times and unself serving, but he will cut off his nose to spite his face in this area, and this is not a issue for me if that's what you're thinking.
So no, I would not pluck trump out of a crowd to be my candidate, but compared to the abomination on the other side, who isn't cognitive, so we don't really know who is running the country or what they think or what their platform is, he still has my vote

The last GOP president was impeached twice and is being removed from the ballot while facing fake political charges but Republicans are still worried about setting a dangerous precedent
Beautiful Losers
Tweet pretty much sums up this thread as well
Dems are raging all out war against us on every front imaginable and some can't be bothered enough to vote because they are in their feelings like a bunch of toddlers that had their toys taken away

Same. You have a very poor feel of the population at large. It’s probably because you restrict yourself to what you are exposed to.
I read opinions from people I agree with and people I disagree with. I’ve monitored the same people supporting Desantis prior to him dropping out to afterwards.
It’s probably why I’ve been much closer to the bullseye than you have been.

Here's the problem overall. One doesn't know he's running the country and cannot. The other did not know how.

The entire government is rotten which can’t be fixed by one man the president

Totally ignoring my point. Trump didn’t go after RDS on policy, he made it personal, because he’s an immature narcissist
And why does Trump get to be unchallenged in the Primary. Trump supporters scream about they’ve had nominees forced on them for years, but then don’t want to have a Primary process. You guys are the most undemocratice group there is.
