As I stated in the OP, even if you feel your complaints are legit, it's time to wake up, put some clear eyes drops in and look at the whole situation.
Your complaints are minuscule in the over all picture.
It's totally void of logic. "Never Trump because he spent". Congress spent. And the Establishment GOP just signed away how much more?
Want the spending to change? Put in more people like Vance, not stand aside and watch it fall.
And one more time, the spending is all a states issue and that is a fact.

Do you give Trump credit for the tax cuts enacted while he was POTUS?
Yes. Without him signing it, it doesn't pass. With the CARES act, it did not matter. The vote was unanimous.
None of that even matters. It's not a logical stance. If you can not see what the left has done and the people on the right rising up to say no more, you are blinded.
You issues is a states issue. Spend time making them do something.

Yeah, that's why we elect a president. To observe the states running fedgov.

Trump is the establishment GOP. That's the point.

You're screaming at the sky. I have never suggested that I won't enthusiastically vote for the Republican nominee in November.
I don't need an big government Republican like you to tell me how fricked in the head Democrats are.

Nah. Me repeating his words to use against his stance isn;t the same. We both know that.

This is a good post that was even handed and didn’t call anyone out.
But you can see by some of the responses that your assumption of who these people are is wrong.
They don’t see the same enemy you do. It’s unfortunate but these are not people who can be counted on for anything. As such, they really shouldn’t be considered moving forward.

That's funny.
Taxation is just like spending. If you imagine the president has nothing to do with spending, then he doesn't have anything to do with cutting taxes.

What was the vote count? Like, the actual vote count. Tell us.

Who are you talking about? Who in this thread has posted that they're voting Biden/Dem, or even not voting Trump?

No. That's the checks and balances in action. You want a dictator. There is no other logical reason or conclusion one can come to.

Trump is the establishment GOP. That's the point.
Wrong. The ones that voted for that are the Romney and RINO arm.

Straight forward.... That's about as piss poor as one can get.
Make a better argument.
You're demanding people pull the lever for a very flawed candidate while keeping their opinions to themselves.
Do you think Trump could improve his chances if he changed a few things. Do you think he will change anything if the electorate remains quiet while he continues along the same path.
Calling Trump's failings out doesn't mean that person is going to vote for his opponent in the general as that person is even worse. Instead, a person facing two lousy choices would like the lousy candidate on his side to improve his policies and tactics.
That will never happen by remaining silent.
*I also know the likelihood of Trump changing one iota is minimal.

Well, that's retarded and sad.

They're one in the same, and that's what this debate is about. Not whether Biden/Dems are an alternative.
You're more comfortable with big government, spending, and more power to the establishment than I am. That's the difference between us.

Because dictators give up control after elections?

That's wild. Even for you, moneyg.

Trump will win Louisiana anyway, make sure you vote independents down ballot
As someone who is not party affiliated and identifies constitutional conservative, but loathes the GOP bc of weakness....I'll be voting red because I'm not a idealistic idiot. A vote for an independent, in this two party system, is pathetic and self serving. Democrats are currently trying to destroy our country in every way, and even I disagree with the GOP's actions on a lot of things, I have to cast a countable vote for the party that at least where some of its members act like they want to do the best thing.
Let's face it, the independent party is a joke currently. RFKjr has some decent qualities, but still falls short on a lot of issues. Trump just acts goofy and immature, but I KNOW from his track record he does indeed try to push our country forward.

If you monitor social media, including this site there’s tons of examples of both.
In this thread, the most prominent poster against the OP has said he won’t vote for Trump. Others have about a 10-1 ratio of bash Trump to bash Democrat. It used to be “justified” behind an objective of electing a different candidate. But , now, it’s clear that’s not true in large part.
But I’m not here to call out anyone individually. This was a good thread that didn’t call anyone out and instead made a plea to a group of posters. It even set a premise of a justifiable complaint. It was beyond reasonable. I think the replies speak for themselves.
My comments are about a subset of the group.

Maybe some of it. Populists are the MAGA wing of the party, not the conservative wing. Conservatives want nothing to do with populism.

No. The Republican Party has no place for people like Roger who equate the conservative, nationalist, populist movement to Socialism.
