The Pentagon source said it's referred to as the Tier 1 group.
JD Vance, Vice President
Marco Rubio, Secretary of State
John Ratcliffe, CIA Director
Dan Caine, USAF General & VIce Chair, Joint Chiefs of Staff
Mike Kurilla, US Army General & Commander, Central Command
Everyone else is on the outside looking in.
I don't link the WaPo.

The IC apparatus that has controlled DC since well before Kennedy is being starved to death, and it's an amazing thing to behold.

sounds like a good think tank to me -
far superior to the communists, islamists, and grifters who "advised" (as in told them what to do) Obama & Biden

Yeah, that explains why the IC is on the verge of getting their biggest win since maybe the 50s with military conflict with Iran

Remember this, whatever is written in the WaPo is usually opposite of the truth.

That guy right there is Israel's boy. Straight up.

WaPo has been described as the newsletter for the CIA …. propaganda central

Absolutely. The WaPo is basically a publisher of coordinated leaks/media ops.
It could be true and certain people at the Pentagon want this to be out there. Or it could be false information leaked for a purpose.

Politics is wild, Rubio and Trump was pretty vicious the first primary.

Or maybe just a beginning of a finalization of the never ending MIC money drop used in Mideast.
Maybe politicians with those greedy hands can be voted out when their funding comes up dry from MIC for failing them and monkeys will jump out my arse too

All hawks except JD, and we saw how fast he backed down in the leaked signal chat. I bet JD wished he still had a strong woman like Tulsi to back him up.
Get those flags ready for those coffins.

I'm fine with that group.

Hyperbole much. Go eat your panican breakfast.

Rubio must have finally gotten it. Trump just being Trump and he’ll do whatever he has to do to win. I don’t think he really hates any of those folks he talks trash about. Some end up getting it, a lot of others don’t. They get their feelings hurt and go to war with him.

I think you can include Javanka and Don Jr. despite WaPo leaving them out. Oh, and Trump met with Steve Bannon yesterday for lunch.

To this point, Rubio has been the biggest and most pleasant surprise of the Trump administration. Senate neocons must be really disappointed in Rubio.

He doesn’t have that much voice with Trump and knows all he has to do is play along for the next couple years and he’s likely the next president.
And any list that doesn’t have Don Jr and Susie Wiles on it is not accurate.

I thought Rubio was remarkably unscathed after trading jabs with POTUS in the 2015 primaries.
Much bigger names were destroyed.

When did you get commissioned at the Southern New Hampshire University war college?
Posted on 6/20/25 at 8:23 am to LuckyTiger
With or without the names attached, that sounds like a reasonable group of positions to be the inner circle of a president. Was this presented as a negative in WaPo?
