Grok:

quote:

Men over 65: According to exit polls and analyses, men over the age of 65 were among the strongest supporters of Donald Trump in 2024, with immigration being a top issue for 43% of this group. While exact vote percentages for this demographic are not fully detailed in the sources, they indicate strong support for Trump, potentially exceeding 50%, consistent with trends among older male voters.

Women over 65: The data suggests women over 65 were more likely to support Kamala Harris, with 54% viewing her favorably compared to 46% unfavorably. However, this group did not shift significantly toward Trump compared to 2020, and they were the only female age cohort to increase Democratic support while decreasing Republican support from 2020 to 2024. Thus, their support for Trump was likely below 50%.

Theyd rather watch the world burn than have their retirements take a few percentage drops. They knew Kamala would have kept the gravy train govt spend machine going

Here are the voting demographics by age from 2024 according to The Civics Center research.

How does this ^^^ lineup with Pew?

What's interesting if you Google and ask is Pew left or right leaning one result says,

quote:

It is neutral. It can have the appearance of being pro democrats due to their accuracy. Fact based information tends to look pro democrats

Seems like Gen Z + Millennial Men + Gen X is the ticket for GOP.

The "millennial men" surprises me. No offense to our resident millennial men, but most of the men in that generation have consumed too much soy and raised their estrogen levels to unsafe amounts.

GenZ doesn't surprise me though. Most of my kids are GenZ and that generation that grew up with internet and social media being second-nature, really figured out how to quickly sniff out bullshite. At least my kids and their friends did.

GenX, we're not perfect, but we're not stupid either. We knew how to stand on our own two feet and handle our own business when we were still riding bicycles around town. But we've collectively made our mistakes as well and I won't deny it. At least we overwhelming turned out for America First in the last election though.

that lines up. Trump did very well with non-white voters and young voters, the best since Bush in 2004. But I dont see any data suggesting Trump came close to winning the under-40 vote.

Some of these polls are swingy af. apparently people supported Trump's mass deportations in 2024 and are now against it

Florida exit polls in 2024. one of the oldest states, the boomers liked Trump

I'm a Boomer so I obviously know a lot of Boomers and I doubt if 5-10% of the Boomers I know still vote Dim, granted I live in MAGA Red Missouri.

Nothing worse for America than a worthless 60s hippie that’s now a wealthy old hippie. The world will be better when those “change the world” bastards assume room temp

I save my SS money and invest just like a 401K. It's worth a chunk of change now. I don't consider it welfare as I paid into it my entire working life. It's all good. Come to think of it, my dad paid into it.

My experience does not match this poll. My parents and almost all the boomers I know vote conservative/republican. I can only think of a handful that lean left. My 82 year old father is a USMC Vietnam combat vet who would never support leftist views.

It’s just the way of life that whenAmericans reach retirement age they tend to start voting for whomever they think will be most generous with social security. The millennials and Gen Z will do the same when they are 65.

This isn’t really shocking. The young male vote is sailing further and further right as the left keeps being bat shite insane.

This is why you need test replacement as an older man. If you don't, you start to become an emotional woman. I've see it plenty with men 60+
