So, you think all those companies/country's were lying? What angle would they have for doing that?

Geez, people. Investment of this nature takes time. You expected that steel plant in Lake Charles to already be up and running?

4. **Hyundai**
- **Date Announced**: Reported by March 24, 2025 (exact date unclear)
- **Amount**: $20 billion
- **Details**: Hyundai, a South Korean automaker, announced a $20 billion investment, cited in X posts as part of the “Trump Effect” on investment pledges. The sector is likely automotive, but further details on the announcement date and implementation were not specified.

I can clarify...

Hyundai's Financial decision is slated for March of 2026. Will select GC(EPC) in March 2026. Bid documents slated to go out June/July in 2026. Looking at completion in December of 2029. Total project to take apx 42 months. All projects tend to move to the right so we'll see what sticks but I've talked to people in the know on this one with the State and it's moving along.

Well, I got my answer.

Trump could announce a cure for cancer, and the TDS crowd would respond with, "This is going to wreck the medical profession!"

It's odd that you think someone has TDS because of some healthy skepticism. I would say you should start thinking more but it doesn't appear that it would help.

So announce now get the goodwill and then decide what to do in a year. Exactly why skeptics of this deal are skeptical of it being a real commitment.

It's good to be skeptical. But maga retards treat any skepticism as some form of TDS

Not at all. I work projects like this all the time, it's what we do. All the large projects AFE are very close to when they start construction. Venture Global in Plaquemine, AFE was after they started turning dirt. CP2 for them I believe AFE is in June or July which is when they are slated to mobilize. It seems to be normal practice with mega projects.

I would LOVE to hear the TDS crowd put a negative spin on that.

They will say the same thing they say to everything else that is good, or when Progfilth does something bad.

"That's not true."

While I don't disagree as I have a little familiarity with this and the plant work for cars I also know that until that decision is official we shouldn't count our chickens. things push, shifts in demand happens etc. there's a reason the automakers do it this way and it's mostly to hedge their own risks.

Fwiw I think this one will happen and is one of the more concrete ones

For sure, although don't leave Scrub out of the equation.

I've learned something new today. Apparently, insane asylums have a set time of letting the inmates use their phones between 4-5 PM.

No, it was your CCP buddies who tanked the economy in 2020. I bet they're sorry they did, too, because it gave Trump 4 years to plan and come back with his strong team.

But, I know all of that is over your head.

Naah.. the factory just magically gets it land cleared.. the building’s framing automatically goes up.. concrete just magically gets poured.. the roof just automatically installs itself… the walls get painted by an AI bot.. plumbing just majically gets installed.. can’t forget about the electricity - that gets installed by itself without a single human interaction

Then once the building is magically built, all of the production machines just magically get installed without any humans

The companies will be able to do all of that without one single employee they would need to pay.

In other words.: your comment is stupid as frick.

That’s how it works.
