If you wanted to "CONTRAST" something it should've been contrasting the fact that Kirk encouraged and sought the debate and the killer was so full of hate that he killed somebody for differing views.
OR contrast the hate that people are spewing about Kirk and contrast that with the thoughtful debate Kirk has had with many that just threw hate.
