So I wonder the narrative will be if Putin moves against the Balkans or Poland in the next few years.

He’ll bide his time , but he yearns to get the band together again(USSR)

But Trump and the U.S. capitulated this time, so who knows?

For all his talk, Trump never intended on forcing a fair deal. He’s left UKraine with a few horrible options…

Good. Let's get all of our money out of this boondoggle and pretend it never happened.

Say what you want about Trump. Russia never would have pulled this invasion during his presidency.

The only question that remains: will Russia likewise agree to it? Color me skeptical. Didn't they already agree in principal?

The last I read the Russians had agreed to review a deal but would not agree to a deal unless all of Russia’s demands were met which includes international recognition of Crimea and the Donbas as Russian which this plan does not do. That is not their conditions for a peace treaty. That is just their condition for a ceasefire. So it is highly unlikely that Russia agrees. However if they do agree then I will be happy to admit that I was wrong.

Narrator: They won’t agree.

The sooner Putin and Zelenski are fish food, the better for everyone else.

I agree that the Russians won’t agree. If the Russians don’t agree to this deal which gives them most of what they want then Trump has no reason to believe that they will be able to get a deal without a Russian battlefield defeat and/or economic collapse.

Ironically our posture in Venezuela makes Putin stronger because China will demand more energy from Russia.

The Russians know they can keep stringing Trump along and that eventually he’ll get frustrated and look for a way to end this on terms highly favorable to Russia.

Russia will agree to terms.
Russia and US are working behind the scenes together on this.

Correct

Which is why I'm not seeing why everyone is spiking the football already

Trump deserves credit for trying but this might not be anywhere near over

international can not even recognize the difference between a man and a woman

Russia will have Donbas and Crimea, what is the Motherland shall remain the motherland.
