ABC News has learned that the 28-point peace plan presented by the U.S. to Ukraine in Geneva has been revised to a 19-point peace plan that no longer includes a point on the issue of amnesty regarding acts committed during the war, as well as limits on the future size of Ukraine's military.

Ukrainian President Volodomyr Zelenskyy said in an address on Monday night that more work needed to be done on the plan that was revised this weekend.

In the wake of this weekend's talks, Russian officials had said that they had not received any updates about what had been discussed in Geneva and what revisions had been made following the talks between U.S. and Ukrainian officials.

Whole lotta room in these paragraphs for things to break down.

we will soon find out......has russia been bluffing to buy more time to take territory and paint Ukraine as not wanting peace. or has this war cost them too much and they are looking for a face saving end that still makes them seem successful back home.....

Russia has a different way of fighting than we do . Their way is to move slowly , dismantle the other countries ability to make war , attrition on the battlefield and then when the time is right …. Take it.
Our leaders have been telling Trump that Putin is struggling , losing 20000 men a week , and that Ukraine has a chance. That’s a lie. Trump now knows it’s a lie.
We either get a peace deal now or it’s going to look like Saigon in 1975 because Russia is a few months away from not needing a peace deal . They will just take what they want.
And to think…. This war would have been over within two months if Boris Johnson hadn’t told Zelenskyy to keep on fighting.

Odds are? Time will tell. Will America's paper promise be better than the last one when Ukraine gave up its nukes?

Putin won't accept any of this and Trump ends up looking like an idiot....again.

Lets step back and look at how idiotic this statement is.

We started this, the US. We then spent 100s of billions giving ukraine weapons and tech and training. If this had been done by the Russians in Mexico we would be in a nuclear war. Instead Putin has stayed conventional, not provoked the US, certainly not to the extent we have.

Enter Trump, who has tried at every turn to stop this. Yet some fcking idiots on here wont be satisfied until we give ukraine nukes and a trillion bucks.

It is moronic and you sir are a poster child.

Its US money. When they agreed to take Russian frozen assets, blinken agreed to back it with US funds.

Ukraine never had nukes, they had Russian nukes parked there.

Probably the same general framework, but the article mentions no limits on Ukraine’s military and another point, which were the “make Ukraine a sitting duck” provisions. Russia won’t like those because it wants to be able to restart the war later.

The main issue with your premise is Russia didn't start the war.

They had Soviet nukes parked there and then they stopped being a Soviet Republic when there stopped being a Soviet Union.

NYPost says Russia will not agree to any deals - fighting expected to continue until Christmas at the least -

Another great NY Post headline - not at the link but on their front page calls it "Nothing but Nyet"....

If the US dissolved and there was no successor state uniting the states, the weapons in each state would presumably devolve to the individual states.

Flipping through OTA morning news channels and they bending over backwards not to give Trump any credit for this.

Their marching orders are to refer to the deal as 'US backed' peace plan and so far they in lock-step.

Lol at this.
