Dude, nearly 40% of Americans don't have $500 in savings. It's not crazy to suggest an uptick in energy or food is going to hurt that segment.

2. No one has had $500 in savings since the 80’s.
3. I didn’t say the uptick in prices didn’t affect people SOME. I argued that he was saying YEARS since families had to go to the food banks. Hence painting Trump as the bad man when inflation was higher just last President.

Cajunangelle is one of the biggest Trump supporters on here. But, she is also pretty in tune with the common man's economic plight.

Common man’s PLIGHT PAHAHAHAHA. Again not saying the uptick in gas prices haven’t hurt people. I’m saying to paint the picture as this is something that hasn’t happened in 20 years is dumb when the numbers show it was worse less than 3 years ago.

Nobody is saying that Trump hasn't lowered inflation from the Biden years and for the most part, course corrected the disaster that was sleepy/heels.
But for all the good Trump does/has done, he has way too many unforced errors.
Inflation was down in the low 2's for most of his latest term, the BBB is giving massive tax refunds, gas was in the low 2's in a lot of places, all great things.
But what does he do with that amazing foundation, decides to go get involved in Iran, doing Israels bidding, and drive up inflation and gas prices. He is his own worst enemy and always seems to do a great job of stubbing his damn toe.
