Exactly what the Republicans do in Oregon. This isn’t a new strategy and it’s not one that either party is above doing.

What will do more than arresting them is just charging each of them for their trip expenses. Make them pay for their excursion out of their own pocket.

Democrats have been doing this for years as far back as 2003 when democrats fled Texas over re-districting legislation.

Democrats flee Texas over re-districting

Wisconsin democrats flee state over union vote 2011

The Republicans fled Oregon over a massively radical "climate change" proposal where companies are forced to buy "pollution permits".

quote:

The climate bill would place a limit on greenhouse gas emissions and require companies to buy permits to pollute. The number of permits would eventually decline and become more expensive, giving companies an incentive to invest in pollution-control equipment.

This voter bill in Texas is not radical in the least, it simply removed all the COVID voting measures that democrats want to be permanent, like drive-thru voting, ballot harvesting, overnight ballot mailing, etc. All that were ONLY in place because of COVID.

Democrats are scum and knew the voting changes weren't about covid but twisting elections to their strategy where they use their massive activist network to "get" new "voters". Basically they go out and harass people to vote and fill out their ballot for them. It's a hugely corrupt system but the Ds don't care because they care about power. Nothing else.

A few Texas Congress should do.
* Censurer them for Dereliction Of Duty and remove from any committees they are on.

* Have them "arrested" when returned to vote on special section items.

* Ask the Texas State Attorneys General to investigate if their "Dereliction Of Duty" is in violation of their Oath of Office. If so criminal charges might apply also if not removed from office.

It is one of the only lawful aspects regarding the fraudulent theft of the election.

Hey pussy, if you walk off the job you're paid to do and take a junket to DC what would happen to you?

As opposed to their noble republican colleagues? Come on man, both of these parties only care about getting reelected. This is all theater

Republicans aren't calling simple pieces of legislation "worse than Jim Crow and the civil war".

Texas has a governor with balls! Wish other states did.

As Texas is being invaded by illegal aliens at the tune of a few thousand per day.

Abbott reminds me of Trey Gowdy. All hat and no cattle.

I remember just a few days ago Tucker called Abbott a fraud. I'll have to agree with Tucker on that.

No they're calling their opponents socialists. Or domestic terrorists, or whatever the new thing of the day is that they brand antifa and BLM.

All the while redoing districts in states to ensure the republican votes count more for elections so they can tbe voted out

I have voted for Abbott since he became governor and he is not Texas's worst governor. However he has disappointed me big time lately. Not voting for that car salesman Huffines either, Colonel West this time.

Because that's what they are. Funny, they flew on a private jet to DC to advocate for the John Lewis voting act to federalize all elections...exactly what socialists do...federalize everything. You really must not be paying attention.

BLM was burning down cities to the tune of $2 billion killing 25+ while telling everyone its okay to violate all the draconian covid restrictions.

This isn’t going to end well. This will only allow them to play themselves up to the liberal masses as martyrs fighting for democracy.

Who cares? This is why Republicans always end up losers. When it comes to nut-cutting time, people on our side worry about appearances or "how it will play in the media". Appearances be damned. Election and Voter ID laws are the most critical issue facing conservatives and the future of our country.

Pragmatically, this is July 2021. By November of next year the average voter won't even remember this kerfuffle. But Voter ID laws have long-term effects.
