Rodgers is the opposite of Brees.

He really is.

Brees folded up like a little bitch at the first sign that the people weren't going to love him if he held to his principles.

Meanwhile, Rogers hasn't fricking budged.

Some of you may remember that back when Brees did what he did, I said that it was a sign that he's like a lot of "good" people in that he can't be trusted. He would sell you out as a friend in a fricking heartbeat if being your friend meant he'd be liked less. He's not good just to be good. He's "good" so that everyone will pat him on the back.

Rogers, meanwhile, has always had his detractors. People don't ride his cock constantly and, he has never really given a frick.

NOW, a lot of you are figuring out that if you want to be around someone you can actually fricking count on, the Rogers type is the correct choice.

Remember this because it applies in your own lives to with the non famous people all around you. That little goody goody you know? That fricker LOVES their reputation so damned much they'd frick you right up the arse to keep it. And there's no lie they wouldn't tell to maintain it.

Who knows? He might generally be. But, what he isn't is a pussy who sells himself out at the first sign of negative feedback(looking at you Drew Brees)

Bite me a-hole. I was responding to the OP's post and not reading through the entire bunch to see if anyone clarified what he actually said.

Somewhere out there... brees is angrily wagging his finger at the idea of Rodgers having a different opinion.

There's a lesson to be learned here and, I often speak of it on this board in relation to politicians and other famous people.

The general public has a tendency to think they "know" the character of famous people they see in the news all the time. And, I always point out that for the most part, none of us really know jack shite other than what their publicists want us to know and their detractors want us to know. It's why I say that I don't give a frick about character when I vote. I vote based on policy.....PERIOD.

What you're learning in watching this is that if you're the type of person who is super comfortable with who you are and aren't desperate to be liked, it's VERY easy for the media to frame you negatively which, by extension, makes some groups of people dislike you.

It's an odd paradox but, a lot of famous people who get nothing but praise, aren't really good people and, a lot who don't, are exactly the kind of people you could count on if they were in your life.

You couldn't count on a man like Drew Brees for jack shite. Do you realize how many people in his own life hold the same principles he USED TO espouse only to watch him just basically shite on their views the moment it looked like it was going to tarnish him? I mean frick us people who are nobody's to him. Think about the people in his own life that he just took a colossal dump on and worse a rapists name on his helmet.

Trust me. You'd rather be friends with Brady or Rogers.

Brees is a pussy and many saw that when he didn’t make it 48 hours before he threw all his personal beliefs out the window. His grandfather probably thinks he’s a pussy too.

Let's also not forget that even when it became VERY apparent to everyone that he'd stepped on his dick, he just basically hid from the story entirely from there forward.

He's TERRIFIED of not being liked. Which makes him completely untrustworthy

Aaron is speaking common sense and truths. This cult of clayheads out there could never listen to a complete conversation or read anything more than 240 characters. If you have a Twitter account, you might not even be aware that you are probably challenged. We must be able to have a conversation, speak objectively, and agree to disagree. Just close your eyes and take a deep breath........imagine now, what makes sense to you?

I didn't follow blindly. I was a Bress fan only because he was a Saint. If I blindly followed Bress I would love Jimmy John's. Jimmy Johns is awful.

This. I think Brees is a good dude, but he's massively insecure, which is strange because he has frick you money. He can't stand not being liked.

Because it was part of a larger statement.

This is the talk of man that is about to walk away from the game if I had to guess. If the Pack wins it all, 100% he is retiring.
