Wait a second - they are listening to their customers and making real change unlike we've seen any other company do. I argue we should support that.
Any logically thinking man would.

When companies learn and correct, they should be applauded. If rectifying these things are not rewarded they have no choice but to double down.

They know what their stakeholders want and need, so they are correcting course to better meet those needs. They are eliminating programs that offered no value after evaluating, including cost analyses of, those programs.
Good for them. A well managed org.

frick all of that. They knew before hand that promoting trans and gay bullshite would offend their core customers.
Who at Tractor Supply has lost their job?

Call me jaded, but I don't trust these companies. Generally these types of statements are just subterfuge as they continue doing what they have always done.

frick them. If you really give a damn about this country you'll go to local co ops or at worse Rural King. At least they are Christian based. This company is back tracking. They deserve nothing but bankruptcy.

Good for them.. I’m glad they see the error in judgement but I’ll wait to see if the truly mean it and that involves some changes at the C suite level before I start stopping there again when heading to the camp
I get the feeling but we need to show massive support to companies who take such a strong stance in moving back to norm. They will be raked over social media by the other side and other companies need to see that doesn’t matter to their bottom line. That is how cultural shift across more companies will happen.

I will wait another 6 months to prove the change has actually occurred. Proof is that the green haired people start boycotting them.
If I don’t see crazy liberal protests in the doorway - nothing has changed.

They need to fire the idiots who made fig decisions.
Then, we can talk.
I spent alot of $$$ with them last year. A LOT. 30 miles away is mom & pop, I'll use them.

NOPE. The damage is done. Take #4 and shove it up your arse.
If the point of a boycott or consumer pressure is to change behavior. Then why take the above petty, cancel culture style attitude? What sorta pussified shite is this?

I don’t think I could disagree more. Big fan of corporations owning up to mistakes and making necessary changes. If it’s true it’s all pretty clearly stated for a corporation releasing a statement. Good for them for actually listening to customers. Provided they follow through with this that’s probably the strongest about face I’ve seen.
This is the attitude to take.
What the OP wants is the very definition of cancel culture.
We'll punish you for fricking up. We'll keep punishing you for correcting it.

Dang that's a pretty strong worded letter. They have to follow through though

You have to know your customers.
TSC should never supprt things like DEI, for the same reasons that a company like Nike will ALWAYS support DEI..
