Jake88 (Republicans take Georgia, Minnesota, New Hampshire, and Michigan, and hold North Carolina for a 57-43 Senate): Democrats flipped Michigan and North Carolina, and Roy Cooper won North Carolina's Senate race.

Midget Death Squad (Republicans keep about 51 Senate seats): Democrats flipped seven Republican-held Senate seats.

Timeoday (Republicans gain 11 House seats and 5 Senate seats): Republicans lost the House and Senate.

kingbob (Republicans win the Senate 53-47 and a 5-seat House majority): Democrats won the House, and reports say Texas flipped to Democrats.

BTROleMisser (quoting UFMatt, Republicans hold both houses): Democrats won both.

lsursb (Republicans hold the Senate 52-48): Democrats control the Senate.

hogcard1964 (Republicans hold the Senate 51-49 and keep the House 219-216): Both chambers went to Democrats.

Bunk Moreland, Tiger1955, DeltaDoc, Zgeo, and Bestbank Tiger all had Republicans holding the Senate, which didn't happen.

Several predictions had the right party but were close on the margins. Those include hoopde, aubie101, and SnacknGold06, who had Democrats winning both chambers, and idlewatcher, who had Democrats winning the House by 4 and the Senate by 2. Penrod had the House right but the Senate split, which was also wrong.

More importantly, DeBoar's assessment that those of us who dared to insinuate Trump is retarded in his second term was way off and he is, in fact, the retarded one.

Congrats on your big wins last night. I can't wait for the country to be a much better place over the next 4-8 years with your success.

I notice my name is missing because I don't believe I am stupid enough to make predictions about shite I can't control.

You gloat now, I will gloat later.

Considering how wrong and stupid you have been, I applaud you for at least logging on today to address the “panicans”

Not gloating. When reading these I thought they were really off. Just posting facts.

I once made an offhand wiseass remark
In 2024 about Trump and no “path forward”. I was taken way too seriously.
I’m being more careful now, so I made no specific prediction about this election. I knew something was happening, but not to this extent…

Could add me to this list as well. I never would imagine more than a slim majority of Congress would be won by the dems. And I was still hopeful there would be no change in either chambers majority.

Anyone who in 2010 who predicted the price of housing and median wages in 2026 based on a typical growth rate of appreciation for housing and labor.

Oh never mind they were spot on!
