Like you have your finger on the pulse of suburban women nationwide

come on Powerman, you know polls are propaganda utilized by whomever is paying for them, nothing more and nothing less

quote:

The abortion issue certainly hurts among women in general and especially with morons like Graham trying to take it beyond RVW being overturned

I live in the suburbs, I am married to a suburban woman, who has suburban women friends and every woman in my suburbs is a suburban woman. The suburban women I come into contact would all say inflation/the economy, then crime and then whatever else (abortion, climate, whatever). None of them would be a single issue voter.
What does that mean nationally? Nothing. What does a national poll mean relative to them? Nothing

everyone saw right through Graham's attention whoring and that is why it went away so quickly. it was a net negative for both sides of the issue.

quote:

You mean the last election that the conservatives lost? Are you experiencing cognitive decline? The RCP average has been a pretty good predictor in the last 2 presidential elections

we arent voting for President in 2022
and none of the national polls came close to predicting the DJT numbers, they were all way off

People that vote conservative dont generally respond to polls, we know this.

It is settled. Not permanently, of course, as that cannot be said given the dynamics of people and events.

But that takes a while and a lot of events to change course.

So predictable

When people see poll results they don't like they claim that the poll sucks

Then when the elections turn out just like the polls they claim election fraud

I am frankly shocked to see a natural cynic like you defending polls

particularly national polls

The midterms are almost always about the seated POTUS, and the economy. One is senile, the other is deathly ill.

Just look now, the DOW is tanking again...
Does anyone expect October to be kind in the markets?
Or will it be a shellacking? Ill put my money on that before the pollsters right now.

And that is before we address the pollsters recent history of secret/shy Trump supporters. the target of blame for inaccuracies the last couple of election cycles.

The whole world is rigged. Their is too much money involved too not be rigged.
Once you accept that, the world makes a lot more sense.

Ive always found it laughable that people actually try to make you believe a "suburban housewife and mother", the same ones speaking out against the school boards across the country, at risk to their own livelihoods, a mother I repeat, is more concerned about the right of some other woman to take a hammer shove it inside her and wack a kid on the head.

Somehow there just might be a disconnect.

But it does certainly set the "explanation" for why dems suddenly swept in and took a bunch of questionable seats, yet again, doesnt it????

Most suburban wives I know care about their kids school, the fact that crime is touching lives of the ones they love, the fentanyl issue in suburbia, gas, power, inflation, and the fact the only chance their kid may have at a future is to transition to gay and find the proverbial relative in the woodpile.

horseshite. There’s not a single person voting differently because of the SCOTUS ruling. We have the same number of perpetually outraged harpies that we had before the decision was handed down . If the Democrats don’t get tossed in November, it’s because we’ve finally passed that demographic demarcation line, not because of any single issue. And if that is indeed the case, then the country is certified Done and Over, and nothing else matters anyway.

A few years ago, we passed the point where there were more people living in cities, than any other areas combined.

I believe that was the death-knell.

I have to say I was just a little surprised when this Rasmussen dude said the midterms by their polling is + or - 2 MOE in a poll asking likely voters if they're voting Groomer or America First.

We are no where near the level of pain required to rid these morons of their progressive views.

They will literally need to be starving and freezing and still then it may not be enough.

The democrats aren’t going anywhere. It’s a religion.

I wish you were right, but I know quite a few currently on the fence as they battle logic (inflation/energy costs/Biden) vs emotion (abortion access.)

so confusing

most people vote based on emotions.

not on big ideas like national debt.

so the fact that trump McConnell cut taxes on the rich and there by created debt was ignored by voters of both parties.

No, it didn't.

The only women who are that pissed are Democrats.

And, it didn't outlaw abortion. It simply confirmed what it should have always been, a State's issue.

Smart voters are also smart enough to know that last part.

I've seen nobody on my feeds that gives two shits about the Roe vs. Wade deal that wasn't already a Democrat. ZERO.

This election comes down to pocket books. Not whores who want easy and free abortions.

1. senator Graham let the cat out of the bag and Rubio backed his play.
nation wide 15 weeks.
this one is not going away just because supreme court's ruled states rights.
2. what matters most is turnout. if some percentage of liberal women 18 to 25 actually vote it will be more than usual.
my niece has never voted.
her fb is full of photos with similar hot young women in world travels from Paris and Barcelona. if she votes it will be because my sister was able to get her to give two
shits based on graham.

I’ll be at a presentation by Scott Rasmussen on October 10, along with several other posters on this board. I’ll give cliffs the next day.

The reason that the Democrats haven't proposed any legitimate legislation for abortion since June is the same reason they haven't ever proposed legitimate abortion legislation...because it isn't as popular as these gaslighters want you to think.

You are off the mark. The Dems can’t propose legislation because if they proposed abortion up until delivery they would lose the issue, and if they approved less than that they would lose their base. But make no mistake about it, they are winning the issue big right now because to the uninformed, the Republicans seem to be attacking the status quo.

This ^^^^ is exactly the point of the OP

The Rasmussen pollster found both Groomers and America First patriots believe the economy and crime are their top concerns yet the street level Groomers will vote for the Groomer party whose policies have caused the economic carnage and rampant crime…..sane and rational America First patriots can’t comprehend how Groomers can complain about economic pain and crime and then vote for the same Groomer politicians whose policies are causing their biggest concerns

THEY’RE LEGIT INSANE!

We’ll see how much of a toss up they are when the Stock Market is under 27,000, another Quarter of negative economic growth and interest rates are in the 8% range to go along with a massive increase in home foreclosures and loan defaults.
