Well, back in the day on the OT you would flee from our debates, you had to get back to class to get more learning

you've learned a lot more still can't get past the need to be the smartest person in the room

But that can be said about anybody and everybody on this board

You didn't ask which ones trace their roots to Christianity. You asked which ones trace their roots to the Old Testament. All of those examples I gave come from the Old Testament and all also predate Rome.

im not erratic

And if he's trolling why do you fall for it,,every single time

So much so that you mention his name when he's not even in the thread, begging him to join in

so you can again have the same argument the two of you have had every single time

you seem to be the problem

I wasn't trying to "get you." I was just pointing out that that was what he said and you refuted him and repeated the same thing. It was funny is all. Lighten up.

You seem to forget the reason the pilgrims left for America was for religious freedom. At the time the King of England demanded that you be part of the Church of England and live under their rules. They didn't come to America because they didn't want religion but to have the freedom to worship Christ as they wanted

That's actually a main point of my own argument. They weren't trying to form a Christian nation, they wanted religious freedom - especially from other Christians.

Jefferson and a few others weren't Christians, they were deists. All products of the enlightenment era.

That's totally wrong. They wanted to worship Jesus but they didn't want to be under the King and the Church of England

Right, but this guy is just another edge lord making a "point" about separation of church and state.

That's what most rational people would conclude

You're stating that they wanting to break away because they were not Christian, using some of the founders as your evidence, I'm stating the main reason was because they were Christian and still wanted religion to be a guiding light for the new territory.
