and the founding fathers that came here in the 1600s the people that founded this nation at the colony level the representatives that those colonies sent to the Constitutional Congress many of those colonies in states had it as a rule that those men had to be Christian.. Of different denominations but very Christian
Then as they established the nation they made the point of saying there is no particular Christianity that this nation worships because we do not have an official religion
That does not change the fact that the Founding Fathers were very much Christian the states required them to be Christian members of a Church before they went to the Congress and their writings prove that when they say what their belief system is and why they're founding this new nation
In 1797 the senate unanimously ratied the Treaty of Tripoli and stated directly: The government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion
Saying it's Christian because of the religion of some/majority of the people is like claiming a porn site that is created by a Christian is a Christian business.
That would be be bullshite because such a business has nothing to do with the religion no matter what religion the person who created the business may claim.
What would make it a Christian business is if it was promoting Christian beliefs and so forth. That's probably not happening with a porn site.
And the US constitution does not promote Christian beliefs and so forth. It prevents it, because it was not founded on the Christian religion.
If anything, the US was formed as a result of the enlightenment that was going around in the 1800s with regards to reason, science, individual liberty and representative governments. The US was the practical application of the philosophy that developed during that time.
That is my philosophy as well and why I wish to restore the republic.

When people found a nation or community, their values and their belief system are going to shape the type of nation or community they create
They were Christians ergo, this is a Christian nation
They were Christians ergo, this is a Christian nation

So pron sites are Christian websites if their owners are Christian.

I don't know; they probably think it is
if that's your intention, that's what it is
May not live up to it according to your legalistic standards but that doesn't change if that's what their intention is that's what it is
Stripper for God Of course if there is a wiki page for it it must actually be something i
Now what it becomes
is kind of like this entire thread where people are giving prayer to Satan, misusing the freedom of religion clause in the Constitution to mock the freedom of religion... an obnoxious GOTCHYA, which is what youre trying to do,,, and slo is an expert at
Which is why God advises against man establishing governments
but here we are there it is

False. It was founded on separation of church and state.
That term actually was written to Keep the government from telling you what Church you had to be under not a total separation of religion and government.

No that term comes from a letter that Thomas Jefferson wrote to some Baptist who were worried about the government establishing a religion
and he said there would be a separation of it because government would never influence religion;
there was never an intention for religion to not influence the government
This is all Civics 101

It seems like you just repeated what he was saying there.

oh boy you got me there
I brought that point up hours ago even mentioned it was Thomas Jefferson specifically in a letter to Baptist churches had a lot more information in my point than he did
but I suppose you have to take your wins where you can imagine them

But it's not their intention. There only intention is to sell porn for money. Their religion is nothing but a side fact.
And the founders basically said the same thing. Now you can say the reason for that was Christian oppression historically and that certainly had it's influence.
But the fact remains the US was not in any way founded on the Christian religion, nor is it a Christian religion.

It is freedom of religion. It's not a misuse any more than someone saying a prayer for Christianity is.
It's a stunt to make Christians attack the 1st amendment. Which is what many are in fact doing in response in this thread, including yourself.
What you do is...vote the stupid fricks out of office. They showed their cards, get rid of them. Or if the people they represent want it, then so be it.
That's what freedom requires - giving it especially when you disagree with it. Otherwise you deny it of yourself.

How would you prevent people from saying some prayer to satan without government?
For the record: God is 100% right. I find the constitution the only compromise that is acceptable and by that I mean the document of limited government, not of limited rights. 95% of government should not exist.

Senate also declared in 1797 unanimously that the US was not in any way founded on the Christian religion.
So any religion was fine, as long as it was Christian?
Seems odd for the non Christians like Jefferson to be involved in that. And a weird coincident the US was founded on the philosophy of the 18th century enlightenment.

So as I kind of pointed out the beginning of this tired pointless charade, you were just trying to argue legalistic /semantics and in the end, you're just agreeing but trying to seem clever to be just a little smarter
to yourself
and now you are trying to hurt me with a downvote

You seem to forget the reason the pilgrims left for America was for religious freedom. At the time the King of England demanded that you be part of the Church of England and live under their rules. They didn't come to America because they didn't want religion but to have the freedom to worship Christ as they wanted

The rule of law, the two witness rule, proportionality in punishment, sanctity of private property, and privilege against self incrimination.
With the exception of the privilege against self-incrimination, all of these have roots in pre-Christian Roman law. As for the privilege against self-incrimination, it’s modern form developed in English common law during the 17th and 18th centuries. Before that, it was limited in scope, particularly in ecclesiastical forums.

I complimented his first summary as it shut down even SFP it was so well rounded...and he flipped the frick out.
I thought he was just defending cubs inane crap overall but...
Maybe he needs a wellness check? Telling a soul to enjoy hell and then whipping out Bible quotes...
