I would rather make sure the government is most structured as such that, whether or not any particular leaders personally "care" about me will more often than not have little effect on my day-to-day existence.
The more things we allow them to get their hands into, the harder that becomes.

I told you I blame the Biden administration for this, including the FTA but there are certain policies that were passed by the Trump administration that made it harder specifically to import formula from other countries.

The reason you are getting hammered here is because you are not only partly blaming republicans (which is insane, BTW), but you are wagging your finger at them for piling on dems over this epic frick up on the eve of an election.
As if dems wouldnt be doing 10X worse if the roles were reversed... and something tells me you wouldnt be in this thread with the same POV if they were.
Maybe, just maybe, if the media would tell the truth, republicans wouldnt have to scream shite like this from the rooftops. Im sorry you are having personal challenges with regard to this issue, but dont look for sympathy from strangers - you voted for this.

My SO's daughter was able to order baby formula from Canada through Amazon, in fact she's the one who first told me how to do it if I ever needed to get any for her. She got baby formula faster than I got a print cartridge from one end of DFW to the other.

Well, we are all in this shite. Every action this adminsitration has made, will cause pain on all of us. The baby food shortage is just the beginning. Wait until the food shortages kick in. Wait until basic grain stocks become scarce. Rationing WILL HAPPEN in the next 3-4 years. We are in store for a lot of pain, unless we can topple this current admin.
Craig86, i mean this with 100% honesty and sincerity. If you want peace and prosperity, you HAVE TO STOP LOOKING TO DEMOCRATS AND THE GOVERNMENT TO SOLVE YOUR PROBLEMS. The potential of this country was just getting tapped until the plandemic started. Imagine what WE could do, if Government wasn't there to attack us at every step.
This isn't a battle of right vs. left. This is a battle of the citizens vs. the politicians. And it just so happesn, that the left ALWAYS fights to enrich and empower the politicians. They have no policies that expand individual freedoms.

A close friend of mine 20 miles in the other direction had to go to 6 stores before she found some for her human baby.

Actually I’ll tell you a little bit about myself, even though I shouldn’t open up myself to strangers I suppose especially people who supposedly hate me.
I was raised Christian I have a great family, a mother and father that stayed together through thick and thin, I was raised by a conservative father and my mother who is more in the middle but as they’ve gotten older they have drifted further and further to the right, in fact I had a huge blowup with my father not too long ago and it was really fricked up . Ever since then, he called me and he said I don’t give a frick about politics, you’re my goddamn son and I love you, and I’m so fricking proud of you, and I should’ve never said what I said. Me and my father have been closer ever sense. And no I don’t live near an urban area I live in a small town, well relatively small town in the east.
I’ve mentioned it before but I was Republican growing up, I hated Michael Moore, I voted for George W which I know a lot of you bash me for but I was 18 at the time and I thought there was weapons of mass destruction, and I thought we were doing the right thing by going in there because I thought that they had ties to 9/11.
I went to college and I met people from all over the world from Pakistan, India, multiple European countries, South Korea, and it really opened my eyes to people from all over the world. I had mostly conservative teachers, eX cops, One guy was former Secret Service, etc. I graduated with a bachelors in criminal justice, wanting to work in the corrections system.
I was a libertarian for quite a while, I wanted to pull out all military from every country, I wanted to privatize every entity, including fire departments, prisons, etc.
I was and I still am for the legalization of every drug.
As I’ve gotten older I’ve drifted more to the left, who knows where I’ll be in a couple years from now. I can promise you this I probably know more about college football and care far too much about college football than anyone else on this board, I absolutely live for fricking college football, i’m kind of a obsessed nut about it.
