Not sure if you are in Georgia or California. Prices seem to be right for California.

Bacon - $10/lb. I buy it from a smokehouse. Buy 4 lbs. at a time and freeze it.
Fresh eggs - $3 a dozen. Buy them from the guy who mows my yard.
Gas is about 4.20 a gallon.
Milk - don't really do milk but the wife does but I have no idea what she pays for it.

Milk is important because it is used for just about every food recipe that you can think of.

10 pound bag of frozen chicken breast was 19.99 at Walmart about a year ago . Today that same bag is now 34 dollars and some change . It’s sick , these evil people know exactly what they are doing .

I remember this as a kid.
It's now coming back to haunt me as an adult. Market cycles they say. Not a flaw, just a feature of the "system".

Sorry baw. You are collateral damage in the west coast punishment for their voting and advocacy stupidity. I’m cheering for west coast 10 dollar gas. I hope it’s freaking painful. Real struggle.
I’m talking getting an ID for voting kind of struggle.
And when they make excuses for Biden…. I hope it gets worse.

Was north in S Alabama yesterday and saw gas at 4.63 and diesel at 5.58 . Everything gets somewhere by trucks . Diver shortage was caused be the CSA 2010 rules under Obama ( on purpose I might add) and the democrats policies now will cause 8.00 fuel minimum but end of year. For those elite coasts they will see 10 . Diesel will reach 9 as well and that’s when the fun starts as stores now don’t stock in warehouses as they did 30 years ago but rely on next day delivery. That’s not going to happen

Sounds like you need to buy a milk cow.

Monday was my late father in laws birthday, our first without him. He used to make grilled ham and cheese for the kids so we decided it would be a fitting meal that day.
1 loaf of bread
1 pound of deli ham
1 24 pack of off brand American cheese singles
$17 after tax.

Bought two pounds of bacon (the kind they slice in front of you) yesterday. It worked out to 6.18 per lb.

Stop drinking cow milk, you are a human being with a completely different digestive tract. You're just shitting it out, it's a complete waste of money.

Bought a gallon of milk at Costco 2 days ago for $4.50 or so. Not sure about the exact price, but know it was under $5.
Gas prices for 89 Regular is $3.96 a gallon.
I bought bacon when in there 2 days ago too and the package I got was 2 packs, each 1.5 lbs. of thick sliced hickory smoked product and it was just under $15----so not quite $5 a lb.
This is the N.O. area
