Rev 6

5 When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” And I looked, and behold, a black horse! And its rider had a pair of scales in his hand. 6 And I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, “A quart[a] of wheat for a denarius,[b] and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine!”

$10 for a salad? Are you crazy? $10 will buy me 3 full grown vegetable plants for my backyard. Salad all year. Just add water.

Obviously Big Milk is price gouging and racking up record profits. Congress will be passing a law shortly.

There's a dairy farm down the road, it has more milk cows than you could believe. It does not sell its milk to the public, only to the government and the outside corporations.

Traitors to the community.

Damn. What was it before?

Gal of milk here is now $5.89. It used to be around $2.49. Over a hundred percent price increase. Eggs went from $1.09/doz to $3.89/doz

Side topic: A fricked up thing I've noticed is... the generic store brand products are actually more expensive than the name brand products now.

Most states have laws which either prohibit or severely-restrict the sale of raw milk to the public, and few dairies are equipped to do their own pasteurization.

Something about preventing diseases such as listeriosis, typhoid, tuberculosis, diphtheria, Q fever, and brucellosis.

I just spent $102.00 to fill my gas tank. After driving to 3 different gas stations. Racetrac, no gas. Shell, no gas. Finally the 3rd one had gas on about half the pumps. $4.59 a gallon.

I would just like to tell all the people who voted for Joe Biden, frick you. And frick your parents for raising such a dumb, gullible, non thinking a-hole.

Trader Joe's is cheaper than most normal grocery stores, maybe you are thinking of Whole Foods?

Anyone else know the prices of these things in your area?

We're at the point that a day's wages aren't enough to cover your cost of going to work and back and having a sandwich for lunch.

Not sure how high those items are around KC but I’m sure it’s pretty much the same around the Midwest and South…..one thing I noticed this past Monday when me and the wife went to the store is non perishable items are being wiped out of inventory….there was nearly empty shelves where pasta, flour, sugar, rice, beans, etc. use to be.

I will pass that along to the small handful of Biden voters that I know. I am sure they will appreciate your input.

perhaps a problem, but not the problem that you referenced earlier in the thread.

Should people have the right to drink raw milk and risk the above-referenced diseases? Yep, if they give the dairy a full release/immunity.
