An anti-parasitic drug available throughout the world has been found to kill COVID-19 in the lab within 48 hours.

A Monash University-led study has shown a single dose of the drug Ivermectin could stop the SARS-CoV-2 virus growing in cell culture.

"We found that even a single dose could essentially remove all viral RNA (effectively removed all genetic material of the virus) by 48 hours and that even at 24 hours there was a really significant reduction in it," Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute's Dr Kylie Wagstaff said on Friday.

I’m trying to volunteer to be a human guinea pig to help the medical community find a vaccine. I’m here in Maryland not far from the National Institute of Health and I’ve emailed them twice and called twice but no reply yet. LSUDVM1999, do yo know any other way to volunteer?

Why not? I hit the aquarium cleaner last week and now the beef flavored chew is next. Between the fish and the dog I've got this thing licked.

I had just watched that video from another source. I have no idea if he's right or wrong, but seems odd he'd be the only one to figure this out considering how many professionals around the world have dealt with this.

FWIW

interesting video from an alleged NY doctor

Seems like a quick dive in a hyperbarics chamber might shed some light on this if what that Doc says is true.

Off topic, but found this in the Wikipedia page. This is the problem with our healthcare industry as a whole, including insurance carriers.

The wholesale cost in the developing world for the tablets is about US$0.12 for a course of treatment.[10] In the United States, the costs is less than US$50.[11][12] In other animals it is used to prevent and treat heartworm among other diseases.[3]

As a therapeutic way or as a diagnostic tool? Seems to me that they need to figure out what is binding to the hemoglobin or causing the hemoglobin to lose its affinity for oxygen. Hyperbaric would be a short term remedy (limited to 90 might minutes or so at 3 ATA) if I recall correctly.

See the bad thing about ivomec is that if you have heartworms really bad and start taking it, they all die at once and plug up your arteries and you die. Shouldnt try this on anyone before checking them for worms

I did some googling and I think the doctor in the video is Dr. Cameron Kyle-Sidell in Brooklyn in case you want to get further information from him.
