You might not like to hear it, but white men allowed this to
happen.

I disagree. She's not hot at all.

On one hand I could be comfortable, on the other hand I need to feel like a morally superior wanker.

White women fatigue. Replace them with Latinas

I just got home from 2 weeks in Spain and England during their record heat waves.
We are very blessed to have the air conditioning we have in the states. They can’t handle heat.

Is her right shoulder deformed?

Could she be any whiter? Have mercy, she glows.
These people are crazy.

Which kills more?
Lack of air conditioning
or
Climate Change.

I was in Germany, Belgium, and London for the last two weeks and the heat there is unbearable.

Just feed a white woman weed and chocolate and she'll be fine.

Brainwashed idiots who are super confident and condescending with their opinions are right at the top of the list of people I'd like to set on fire.

She's correct.
The climate changes every summer to very hot.
Thus, I change my interior climate to very cold.

So how can we definitely say the AC usage is destroying the planet?
If we didn’t use AC wouldn’t we be in the exact same position we are in right now anyway needing AC
The climate is always changing. It’s not stagnant and dependent on modern humans
The sun is 93 million miles away and it’s still this hot here

You should have posted the article, which is from last year, actually. Then you'd get gems like this.
And of course, as always, the glaring hypocrisy.

Hang these people.

AC is quantifiably bad, but I think it’s also philosophically problematic. Cooling offers comfort, making the unbearable bearable, at least for now. That happens at a community level (no one is really disputing we should keep the very old, the very young and the vulnerable cool), but also individually. When you can buy a personal bubble of coolness and not truly feel the heat, the screaming urgency to tackle the collective issue of a world on fire can recede slightly.
And of course, as always, the glaring hypocrisy.
quote:Comfort for me but not for thee.
And this is where I have to fess up. I actually have AC – a little freestanding unit we use only in the evenings, maybe 10 times a year. We also have solar panels and a battery, which helps me sleep at night, but the cool helps more. If the government came for my AC, I wouldn’t demand they “pry it out of my cold, dead hands”, as one Republican said of his gas stove, but at times like these, I’m deeply, guiltily glad of it.

A lot of people will die from the heat over there but the Brits would rather, pat themselves on the back and scream,” but we’re so righteous because we’re saving the planet”.
