I do - I know someone who is one step away from going on a ventilator.

As far as why its hitting the south so hard - well, people are staying inside more due to the heat and the never ending rain.

Nursing pays, depending on the type (travel, RN, etc), but the hours suck and it is stressful as hell.

I know multiple younger people who are nurses who either fled the field or tried to because they hated their jobs so much.

Not disputing that, but the low wage workers never get mentioned.

If they would end unemployment and the eviction moratorium, it would lessen the strain.

My co-worker's parents are both in ICU with Covid.
Both are near death, and most likely caught Covid from their vaccinated son.

That is going to leave a mark.

What is the reasoning now? Why are our rates so high?

Pretty high rates of obesity and low rates of vaccination. Also a higher African American population, who unfortunately are more likely to be severely effected, and are less likely to be vaxxed than the general population.

Why is this seemingly so bad along the gulf coast region?

How do these hot spots correlate with the recent/continual dumping of immigrants?

like natural selection where many of the unvaccinated are getting weeded out

Or 99.8% of the unvaccinated build natural antibodies and live the rest of their lives without a foreign lab created experimental vaccine coursing through their veins.

97% is the talking point. Every hospital has 97% unvaccinated.

Kenny on Walton and Johnston call people out claiming this yesterday and again today.

Try again.

Funny you mention this because "97%" is the exact same number the administration is using for the entire nation. Psaki was recently called out by a reporter for using this number because it tracks back to Jan 1. Extremely dishonest.

I've seen a few vids online where people have noticed numbers getting recycled over and over again. Someone posted a video on TikTok showing the number "233" being used as the case spike count on the very same day in 14 states. Hmmmm.

Two questions:

1. Is every bed occupied by a Covid patient only?

2. Is the Ms. health and hospital system asking for federal help, as in financially?

This wouldn't be a money grab would it?

"Well, if you use Dominion voting machines next election, we'll give you $10 billion".......signed, the Democratic party.

Actually, most likely Biden voters if you look at demographics of the unvaccinated and demographics of the obese.

so then the biden voters are smarter for refusing the lab created experimental vaccine more than the trumpers?

I give it a 97% chance that they are 97% wrong about the 97% number.

Correct, this isn’t a race issue.
