Even the kookiest of his supporters should realize that this nonsense only hurts his already miniscule chance at winning the presidency.

But their kooks for a reason, and therefore can't see the simple logic that expressing these theories while donning the "Ron Paul for President" will only make Paul himself seem like a kook to the rest of the country.

Common sense would say shut up about the stuff until after the campaign to give your guy as much of a chance as possible at the Presidency. Then once he's in the White House, rev the conspiracy stuff back up.

there are a lot of prominent people all the way from cia agents down to the 18yo high school student that believe it was a conspiracy....no way those beams are cut at an angle like that....funny no one here that calls me a kook has explained what happened to the 47 steel support columns in the center....

You actually believe someone is going to vote for President of the United States based on whether or not the people that vote for him believe the government's "theory" on 9/11?

Alot of people will associate you with the company you keep. That is life.

If people see a bunch of Ron Paul supporters screeching about 9/11 and how the Bush family killed Kennedy and blew up the towers to start a war for oil, fair or not, they will associate Ron Paul with those people.

The level of stupidity in some people is pretty amazing, isn't it.

I'm sure there will be some.

That's not the point that I am making, though.

Some people will think that Paul is one of these kooks, and actually believes this nonsense.

Some people will not be vocal in their support for Paul, because they don't want to be associated with the kooks.

The last two appearances that Paul made that I viewed, he was asked about 9/11 "truther" nonsense.

In debates/interviews, he is spending time answering this bullshite, instead of being able to discuss his views on subjects that actually matter to Republicans.

Should the fact that so many 9/11 "truthers" back Paul make a difference to other voters? Probably not, but if you don't think that it does, then you are fooling yourself.

What is more amazing is the amount of stupid people.

Believe it or not, Paul probably wants the "stupid people" vote as well.

Hell, he damn near said as much at the NC debate.

Yeah, those beams look like they were deliberately cut at angles. I wish they had better pictures though.

You mean instead of listening to Ron Paul himself say he doesn't believe in it?

Freedom and liberty makes me VERY vocal. If you want to call me a kook, be my guest.

Who's fault is that? Did you honestly think that was a legitimate question for a Presidential debate?
Did they ask Huckleberry about his son hanging that dog? Would that have been equally relevant?

And just why do you think that is?

Again, if someone is going to vote for President of the United States based on what some other voters believe, then it's no wonder this country is in the mess it's in right now. Further, it is because government is such a mess that you would vote for Ron Paul in the first place, no?

Why should McCain/Romney/Rudy/Huckleberry/Ghouliani/Thompson get it all?

Good for you. Not everyone follows suit.

The "truthers"
quote:

No, but thanks to all the a-hole "truthers" who support him, he doesn't get as many legit questions.
quote:

Did they ask Huckleberry about his son hanging that dog?

Not that I know of, but I didn't watch the entire debate.
quote:

And just why do you think that is?

I think that I have already answered this, but...... He has to answer the bullshite, because so many damn "truthers" have aligned themselves with him, and it gives the media an opening the size of the grand canyon to exploit.

I won't deny this, but votes are votes. "Truthers" are only hurting Paul.

Further, it is because government is such a mess that you would vote for Ron Paul in the first place, no?

If I vote for him, then yes, this would be tops on my list of reasons.

So drone Boeings mean that those people on them really did not die and there were no highjackers? This is complete BS.

Not to mention I hold three different college degrees and can't follow this garbage.

Oh ok, the gubment arranged for the assassination of the hundreds of people that were supposed to be on those flights in such a way that none of their families (some thousands of people) would not question that they got on those planes that hit the towers.

God you people are ridiculous. :blackheli:
