Now give us death statistics.
Sweden didn't do the whole lock-down and covid restrictions thing. Their per capita death rate is 17th among European countries.
Over half are fully vaccinated now though, mostly Pfizer.
I think a lot more people would be comfortable with Novavax since it is a traditional vaccine that grows batches of virus, kills it, and then harvests the spike proteins.
That said, almost everyone I know is vaccinated. And nobody had a problem. I got a brief fever after the second Pfizer. Took a Tylenol and an hour nap and all was well.

Why does this board ignore data like this?
84.6% of hospitalizations for COVID-19 overall are from patients who did NOT receive the vaccine.
Please go get the vaccine. There's no microchip. It doesn't alter your DNA. You're going to be just fine and contribute to helping end this pandemic.
Or, you can all avoid the vaccine and be in a permanent state of having ICU's overrun, hospitals short-staffed, and masks/social distancing everywhere. Because Covid-19 isn't going away.
Why do you cucks spend so much time worrying about what other people do and don't put into their bodies? You have the jab, you have nothing to worry about.....right?

That’s it, you’ve convinced me

Well...... Watch the local news in the AM or PM. It's incessant propaganda about the COVID vaccine. Every expert they interview is from UAB and they all say the same thing over, and over, and over again and have been doing so for a year now. I'm beyond tired of being sold on the vaccine. I honestly don't believe any numbers pro or con generated by any gov't funded institution. UAB is effectively a paid spokesman of the federal gov't. FACT.
Yes to both.
Well yeah, when UAB hospital is being overrun by a virus because the state has a 35% vaccination rate they're going to try and get the message out. The vaccine isn't perfect immunity but it absolutely helps significantly.
UAB isn't a paid spokesperson of anyone. They ask every patient if they got the full set of vaccines and it's pretty simple to document. Then you look and see that nearly 90% of the ICU patients aren't vaccinated and it's pretty easy to see the detrimental effect of the general population being scared to get the vaccine.
And for health care workers it's extremely frustrating to have so many people skeptical of the vaccine when so many people in the ICU and hospital wouldn't have been there if they had gotten the vaccine.

All this data tells me is that if you're fully vaccinated then the pandemic for you is over. Since I'm fully vaccinated, I'm going to live my life as I normally would and am not going to worry about those around me who might be unvaccinated.
Shut up with this fear porn.

What is this based on?

He’s literally talking about my actual job. Healthcare data available for reporting always has a lag…unless you are dumb to think every person in the UAB hospital received their vaccine on location and they were using their own transactional data pre-claims adjudication
Wanna try again?

Why were they not offered monoclonal antibodies early to keep them out of the ICU? Florida has reduced their COVID hospitalizations by 70% by actively offering monoclonal antibodies to people testing positive with CV.
DeSantis studied covid deeply rather than covid fear porn too many politicians parrot.

Herd immunity won't come from the "vaccines", it will only come from getting COVID and getting over it. Let's see, you say get the vaccine, and my PCP says not to.....sorry, going with my PCP.

Pretty much any data you want to look at.

Every damn US hospital out there is reporting similar data. 80%-95% of US CV19 admits are unvaccinated. The numerous clinicians who post here say the same thing. EVERY ONE of them!
So while there are plenty of concerns you and I may share about "data" and the "science", bullshiteting about indisputable facts saps credibility.
Bingo. I happen to be one of those physicians as well.
And I'm Republican as it gets and Trump to the core.

There are quite a FEW healthcare workers that got FIRED because they didn't get the jab. I bet they are pretty frustrated as well. So, tell me, why isn't there 100% cooperation of healthcare worker that are vaccinated? Things that make you go hmmmm!

There's a few but it's mostly nurses. Nearly all of the physicians I know are for the vaccine.

Because you are making straw man arguments, for one.

We should be focusing on those that need the help.
You know, the 96% with underlying conditions, instead of pushing it on everyone.

Let’s look at the another way. 16% of UAB icu patients are vaccinated. That’s an awfully high percentage when you consider the constant drum beat of vaccination.
