Consolidation of the population into large urban wastelands is the primary driver of the explosion in mental disorders and societal decay we now face as a society.

what a moronic measure. Counties don't vote, the citizens do. 50+% voted for the incumbent.
I guess it makes you feel better.

So you want the Electoral College at a county level?

You say the same about the EC but it’s in place for a reason.
Correct. Georgia doesn’t have one and so it’s counties are irrelevant.

Some of those 129 have 9-12k residents. Not exactly relevant when compared to the population centers.

That’s too low.
In Missouri, 95% of counties voted for Republican Eric Schmitt.

Also, people who aren’t property owners have a lower stake in the success of the society. Property owners are far better stewards of political capital than non-property owners.

Everyone understands how excluding 30-40% of the population (and a larger percentage of the urban population) from voting ends, right?

I wasn’t advocating for excluding them. I’m observing their political tendencies. Thanks.

You also have fewer majority black counties.

By fewer, you mean 0?
Yes. We have fewer.

Warnock won the counties around Atlanta and Savannah that counted.....you know, where people live.
Yea, and also Columbus, Macon and Augusta.
There's just not that big a voter base in Echols, Taliaferro and Haralson counties.
Posted on 12/7/22 at 11:28 am to the808bass
Yep that would qualify as fewer and also help explain why we have more blue counties.

I mean...I don't know of many European urban areas that wouldn't make the victim complex population of this board have daily meltdowns.
Pointing out that elsewhere in the world you can have a metro area without some of the more, uhm, interesting elements of our metro areas means I have a victim complex? Do better.

St. Louis City County is 44.3% African American.
St. Louis County is 25% AA.
Jackson County (Kansas City) is 23% AA.

You think the left gave a flying frick that Fetterman was a "muhh bad candidate?" Frick no they did not. But folks on the right have to feel elite by shitting on it's own candidates and forget the big picture.
The difference is the democrat candidate will lock-step and vote for the core beliefs and principles of their party.
The Republican candidates (the establishment) do not vote with the principles and core beliefs of their voters.
