This is total horseShite. Baton Rouge Diocese Parents sent a signed petition over 10,000 signatures. Only 16000 students in the diocese. Other organizations saw the same thing throughout the country in mid July and then they pulled the Delta card.

I do believe 60% of US population wants the mandates. But I would also venture to bet that 75-80% of the country's population centers does not support it (meaning towns and communities all over the Country).

Mandating masks on children 8 hours a day is child abuse. Kids are not at any significant risk from Covid 19, according to any and all data points. Require teachers to wear N95 masks if you want and make sure you supply enough to where they can change them out multiple times a day. But to make kids wear ineffective masks because they might catch Covid and bring it home to their sick grandma that for some reason can’t get the vaccine is utterly ridiculous. The problem is people believe the scary headlines and don’t look at the data.
